Quite the enjoyable round of winter golf, with very decent greens despite the rainy weather this month.
The course is no longer an Arnold Palmer property. The fairways were well maintained however the greens were less than average. The price was somewhat steep for a mid week with no benefits other than a car and around. Typically they used to have lunch and a drink with the purchase of the special. I may or may not return any time in the near future. The layout is very good and the surrounding area quiet.
The burgers were really great, and the pro shop staff are very helpful. The course is very nice and well maintained, one of the better courses in the area.
A beautiful setting. We are senior citizens so we are able to tee off early mornings during the week.
this is a high volume course which causes much wear and tear on the course. the management team has not invested enough in the course to bring it back to the shape it has been by prior management. the carts are a mix of gas and electric and you never know if they will run the whole 18 holes. the course needs much trimming as bushes have grown over the paths. the fairways have bare spots and the greens are not cut and rolled regularly. Green play is tough as hole placement on the weekends are in difficult positions which delays play. there are few signs on this 27 hole course so you can get lost finding your way around. there is a big push for "pace of play" which often ruins your concentration on the game. Appears there is the most emphasis in getting more players on the course (at 8 minute separation in T-Times and increasing profit rather than offering a good golfing experience.the course marshals are helpful and courteous. the bar is often packed and you have to wait at the turn for your order delaying play. the on the course refreshments are scarce.
3 9's. Often very packed. Marshals are friendly. Nice driving range. Clubhouse attendants have very bad attitude. Always look for specials online when booking - don't ever pay full price. Carts need some serious updating.
One of the best golf courses in the area with inexpensive prices and great food. Course is challenging yet fair - not too hard - not too easy. Fairways and greens in excellent condition considering the heat and lack of rain
We played this course on Mon, June 10th. Everything was going along fine, when about 3 hours in, one of their staff came and asked what our tee time was. Then he proceeded to tell us that we were playing too slow and even when I hit into the sand said , "just pick it up and move on".The course was ok, but I've played better for the same price.
I have played here numerous amounts of times. This place is usually pretty affordable place to play. They can sometimes over book the course but I usually have fun, non the less. The holes are fun yet challenging. I think the greens could be a little bit better, but not a bad value for about 40-50 bux during the week
Has 3 9 hole tracks. Just ok, lots of areas run down. Fresh sand was nice. Has a pretty good deal on memberships that include breakfast/lunch/drinks/range balls.....check it out
Played a scramble a few weeks ago and it was a lot better than five yrs ago. Management put other groups between us on the back nine creating a 3 hr nine.
