If you're considering renting here, RUN... as fas as you can. This place is a joke. The staff is rude, they will nt help you at all...they will when youre leasing,, afterwards youre on your own. Maintnance is slow. Neighbors are loud. Parking is a joke after 7pm. You call the coorporate to complain and theres just one person(kathy) to assist you but her phone's always off(i wonder why? Lol) next step is renters association of Dallas, bbb, the actual owners of the property...LOTS of aggravation, stress, lost wages from work(since i have to deal with this asap) NOT WORTH IT!!! Runnnnnnn. :-P
If you're looking to sharpen up your short game, this par 3 course, which is the toughest in Texas, will definitely do so. What makes this course very challenging, is the fact that either the tee area, the greens, or both, are elevated. Some of the greens are also sloped aside from being elevated. There are trees, sand traps, and water practically on every hole, so accuracy and distance, are key. The price to play is affordable for a par 3 course. If you are a "hacker" you will need to bring plenty of golf balls.
I honestly don't even know why Westdale Hills has an office. Seems it's basically for show. The staff is rude, cold, and unhelpful. I have never been so disappointed. I could not wait till my lease was up so I could leave. This has been hands down the worse apartment I have stayed at. Need something fixed? Who knows when they'll even acknowledge the problem. Let alone fix it. The rent is decent, but in all honesty I would rather pay a bit more to interact with actual pleasant, and helpful staff.
Westdale Hills golf course is a decent nine hole par three course. If you looking to work on your short game, this is a nice place to hit a few. It's also very affordable.
This place is Gross, old and run down. I lived on this golf course for a year and it's a total dump. I have no idea if the course is actually decent or if it's worth the price but the property is gross.
this place will test your irons skill. Greens aren't great but the lay out is a challenge. Lots of water and maybe an apartment roof. When I need to work on my irons I leave the tees at home and brush up. Its a quick course to walk and mostly friendly folks running the joint.
We play here weekly and thoroughly enjoy the course. Just be aware that you'll need to ignore the trash that you'll find on the course, with an abundance of trash at the edge of the lake that runs throughout this 9-hole course. Although the maintenance folks keep the course in fine shape, they apparently don't pick up the trash. That said, the course is very pretty with some hills and has definite challenges for both the novice and experienced golfer. The rates are great and the course is never crowded. I highly recommend golfing here, I just wish there wasn't so much trash.
