We were supposed to go zip lining for our first time ever on nov 4th but had to reschedule for the 6th due to bad weather. Annette and Mark were amazing. So accommodating and friendly! And Ya gotta love Mango - the dachshund lol. We chose the 8 line package which was well worth it! I've never had so much fun! Can't wait to go back this year and go again. It's so addictive!! They are very safety oriented and yet make the experience so much fun at the same time. The property is beautiful and that last zip line is UNBELIEVABLE!!! WHOO HOOO!!!
We had a group of 6 first time zip liners. We were very excited for our adventure, well a couple that are afraid of heights were hesitant on the adventure, the staff were great with them and made them feel at ease and they too enjoyed this adventure. Since we have never been zip lining before I have nothing to compare our experience to, we enjoyed all 8 lines and would have like to have done more. The property was very well maintained and what a beautiful place. The only negative was too about the pictures, we all purchased the CD of pictures and were also disappointed to find we had pictures of all the people that were in the group. I would recommend Adrenaline Rush Zip Line Tours to anyone wanting a very nice and friendly place to go zip lining. Snow cones topped off our day!!!
We had a wonderful time zipping around East Texas. I had 25 people in my party and the staff handled our group with professionalism and courtesy the whole time. This place has thought of everything to maximize your fun. The wait time was very minimal for each of the 8 zip runs. The last run is 1700 feet and it looks even longer than that! If you like zip lines, this place is a must see and do! And don't forget to buy a snow cone at the site when you are done. Again, the staff is great. They made the experience complete!
My wife, almost 12 year old granddaughter and I made reservations for June 12th. The weather that day was stormy and I was concerned about whether or not we'd be able to zip line. My drive to the location was going to be a little over an hour, but before I left my home I received a call from the owner advising me of the weather situation and giving me an option to reschedule if I wanted to. Folks, that's customer service with a capital CS! We elected to make the drive and are glad we did. The weather held off long enough for us to get in 5 of their 8 zip lines and it was worth every penny! The staff were very courteous, friendly, and professional. They want everyone to have a good time, but NEVER at the expense of safety. I had never zip lined and I can tell you that I am very thankful that my first experience with it was at ARZLT in Jacksonville, Texas. I was comfortable with every minute of the experience and definitely plan to go back.
I reserved a morning on the zip lines for my family about a week before our trip. We followed the texted directions and found the property pretty easily. I was impressed with the attention paid to safety and felt comfortable sending my daughter on the lines. Everything was well organized and went very smoothly. The owners are friendly and informative. Wouldn't hesitate to go back!
My 9yr old daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our zip line adventure. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by our friendly hosts as well as Mango, the loveable dachshund zip line mascot. We opted for the 8-line tour, which includes every line on the tour. There is a 7-line and 5-line option if you're on a tight budget, but I suggest you go for 8. After paying, we got geared up and moved on to a short 'ground-school' to learn the ins and outs of how to zip line. We rode a very short line to learn positioning and what to expect when stopping. By the way, the Adrenaline staff take care of the braking for you, which I think is a huge plus for the kids (not all zip line tours do that). We were off to the big lines in no time. From the first line, we were hooked! You'll zip over the tree tops and across a beautiful pond full of huge hand-fed catfish. After skimming through the trees and over the pond, we finished our tour on the final zip line named 'Adrenaline Rush.' The line is 1700ft long (1/4mi) and runs the length of the entry to the property coming to an end over another pond at the front gate. It was by far the fastest ride!! My daughter was a little on the light side for the length of the final line, but special thanks to Mark for making her final ride a thrill too. If you're trying to pick a zip line tour, I highly suggest Adrenaline. They were fun, safety conscious, and welcomed us like family. Thanks, Adrenaline!!!
What an awesome birthday adventure with the grand-kids! The owners & staff were so much fun! Beautiful day for zipping. 8 heart stopping stations across ponds, forest & a 1,700 ft span across the pasture! Will definitely go back.
We got to this place and WOW!!! It's the only zip lining place we've been to that is almost all going over water...AWESOME! Unlike a lot of other places, this one has handlebars and they stop you (as opposed to you stopping yourself by braking up top.) Our guides were the owners and we loved hearing about how their property came to be. Such a pretty way to zip, each platform has something neat about it, the flowers, the trees it's built in to, etc.. The end zipline was the longest and it...was...loooong! Very cool place for beginners or seasoned zippers. Sno-Cones at the end were a bonus. We will be going back again!
I just held my 50th Birthday Bash here. I just can't say enough about this place and these people. I did read the last review and they did have some valid points. But my group and I spent the entire day and the way we handled it was that we all went at seperate times. The property is gorgeous and so serene. The owners, staff (and Mango the dog) made our party delightful and a success. We had so much fun we have decided to make it an annual party. I would highly recommend this place if you are anywhere in the area. If not, the landscape is beautiful and well worth the drive. A fantastic place to hold a party, re-union, just about any get together. A huge plus is the covered pavillion with restrooms and the fact that it is fun for the entire family. Annette, Billy, Mark and Leah....you guys ROCK!!!!
Made the 200+ mile drive and stayed in a cabin at the KOA with my 13 YO son. Well worth the trip! We had a great time and felt very welcome. East Texas has beautiful trees and this piece of property is lovely. Plan to make the trip again for a night zip!
The family just started this business 18 months ago, so with time, experience and more generated revenue, it will most likely get better. They are very nice people, trying very hard and that was appreciated. But, with that being said, there are a few points to consider:The group was too large for the small staff. With each client having to wait for every other client to zip from one platform to the next, and then the 3 employees zip to the next one, then going through this process each and every time....well, it was quite time consuming. It also distracts from the rush of zipping when you have to wait so long between lines. People were getting bored. The platforms weren't very high, which takes away from the thrill. All 8 lines are in the same area, just going in a different direction. The last zip (1700) feet was over an empty pasture with what looked to be a sawmill across the road. This last line is marketed as hitting speed of up to 40 mph, but in our experience it did not come close. As real adventure seekers, having children in our group was also distracting. Offering family zip tours and adult zip tours would better suit clients. Also, understanding that this really nice family was trying very hard to be entertaining....naming each zip line and requiring adults to yell out phrases such as "we-we-we" or "Geronimo" became a bit annoying after the 3rd line. We know they were trying to have fun, but the thrill of good zipping doesn't require gimmick....just educated staff, great lines and beautiful scenery. They offered a picture DVD for sale before the tour and many people paid the $10.00 (very reasonable) cost. Once I got home and sat down to look at pictures of what I thought would be my friend's and my experience, I was dissatisfied to find pictures of all the people, only 4 of my friend and I, (with no cool background music), and not very good photography. We were expecting to pay for pictures of our own experience, not pictures of people we don't know and will never see again. This review is meant to (hopefully) help this nice family, who is new to zipping, and not to bash them in any way.Wishing them the best in the future but at this particular time, I would have to recommend New York Zip Lines, just outside of Athens, Texas. The experience is much different and the price is basically the same.Happy Zipping!
Our 12 year grandson, Grant, was with us for a few days during Spring Break and we always like to do something different each time he visits. I made reservations for him at Adrenaline Rush and decided when we arrived that I would ride also. I thought 66 was a little old for this so I was only going to complete five rides. In the end, I completed all eight with him. We had a great time and the guides were so pleasant and helpful. I hope we can go again soon!!
The first time we went here, I wasn't going to do it. It was a gift for my hubby and son. I got brave though and had a blast!Last month for my 45th birthday we went again. My mother in law even did it!The guides are excellent and so much fun. This zip line is different because the guides take great care of you, and they stop you at the end of each zip, so you don't have to do it yourself.I will absolutely go back again!!
So much fun! I can't wait to go at night. The guides were a blast.
I visited Adrenaline Rush Zipline with my 2 eight year old kids. We had a blast. The staff is extremely professional and great with novices and kids. The zip lines are varied and most have you sailing high over ponds and lakes below. This was my first time zip lining and I was very nervous, but the staff really did a great job putting us at ease. Mt kids said it was the best "vacation" they've ever had and are begging to go again this summer. It's a relatively short day trip from Houston and I will definitely plan to go again.
