I love walking these trails and reading the information along the way. Last time I was here, I saw a deer. The SFA plant sales in the fall and spring are so interesting to attend at this location. I believe the education center is now solar powered, too. A new park is in the process of being added. The Deep East Texas flora is always lovely to enjoy.

The trails are a gem in side the city, the variety of plants is great and the trails are very well taken care of. I wish I lived closer I would make them a part of my daily workout Nacogdoches was voted Garden City of Texas in 2014. Good Job Nac!

This is a great foot trail through the pine woods. The university forestry dept. has labeled various trees, something we found interesting. You can choose shorter or longer trails to explore, good maps posted.

This place is a wonderful asset for the City of Nacogdoches. There are native plant demonstration gardens planted around the old Tucker home, which is set on a beautiful, wooded 40-acre property. There are also two miles of well-maintained, paved trails on the property, which is bordered by a creek. It's a very good place to take a walk and reconnect with nature.
