This museum was very informative, very good for young children, and everyone was so friendly. There's also a very small gift shop and a great little soda fountain. Our 7 year-old grandson was very entertained. There were several interactive exhibits that he really enjoyed.

A unique museum that will teach you a lot about dairy history and lots of memorabilia from years back. Found it to be interesting. The giant cows out front are really neat.

The museum has interesting displays of advertising memorabilia, vintage milk and cheese production equipment, and farm utensils/implements used in dairy farming. The hands-on question/answer blocks were interesting and would really be great for elementary school aged children. There is also "soda fountain" w/vintage counter w/stools, tables and chairs that prepares ice cream products (cones, banana splits, milk shakes) as well as lunch items. The chocolate ice cream is a rich, fudgey delight. Allow about 1/2 to 1 hour to see/read everything.

You cannot help but notice the two giant milk cows out front. The museum chronicles the history of dairy farming in our nation. They had many great period pieces to view and interactive exhibits for the children. The short introductory video was also very good. We also enjoyed the fresh made ice cream.

While traveling through northeast Texas, my sister and I stopped for linch on the square in Sulphur Springs. We decided to visit the Dairy Museum while there, and boy are we glad we did. This is a very, very nice museum (and we got free ice cream). We even learned some things about dairy cows, like why the phrase "contented cows".... Loved it and recommend it.

We were told this was a place that one go for a sandwich, burger and some great milk treats such as milk shakes. We drove to Sulphur Springs and this location only to learn it is no longer a retail place that can be visited by the public. We were told by a local the food and drink portion of the facility closed many years ago. Guess someone mis-lead us nevertheless it was a nice drive to the location. We did notice the establishment appeared to be available for training and meetings as was described in the previous review.
