First timer & learned a lot! Great bargains, great people! From used to new, quirky to weird... you can find it here. Wear your good tennis/walking shoes for the terrain - paved pathways to rock, to dirt & grass. Have cash for most vendors, but an ATM is on premises. Pricing is always negotiable with some vendors, if not keep walking because more than likely what you were looking at, someone down the path will have the same thing cheaper! Had a great time overall.A must do when visiting Wimberley. $5.00 parking lots, come early.

We have been coming to the wimberley market days for years and unfortunately it isn't quite what it used to be. Not sure if we'll be coming back any more at all.

If you've ever been to Canton, TX for First Monday then this is the same concept... only much, much, MUCH smaller scale. My husband I spent a couple of hours shopping here and listening to the live music; which by the way was great. The day was beautiful, the traffic and parking weren't as bad as I was expecting, and I found a few treasures to bring home with me. I will definitely be back. Next time I'll bring my girlfriends and my shopping cart!

We had a good day of shopping. Lots to see. I was expecting more crafty items and it was more like the old Canton. Antiques and older stuff, some crafty things. I am not sure if the map makes it look bigger than it is or if we were just lost and missed half of it. There was only once that we had to wait in a line for the ladies room and it wasn't a very big line either. That is a big plus for us ladies and for the ladies that enjoy a few beers while shopping! If you are in the area I would say go check it out, but don't make a trip just for the Market Days.

Well covered in trees. Neat setting and Wimberly is a neat town. Nice covered areas and fairly good food available, run by Lions club. Overall operation supports Lions club. Very clean facilities and restrooms. More antiques; than the flea markets in San Antonio. Worth a visit!

I've been going to "Market Days" the first Saturday of the month for well over a decade and each time I return, I seemed to find something more to love about it.Early (prior to 8am) arrival during the hot summer months are essential to enjoying the coolness of the Hill Country mornings, but come Fall, the early bird gets the best deals, avoiding the long lines of traffic, and snags close-by parking for $5! I've spent an hour and I've spent four hours browsing and shopping--it just depends on the vendors of the day! There are vendors at Market Days that I've shopped repeatedly and those are my very first stops, as they usually are sold-out by 10am-11am.The Lions cook up some yummy breakfast tacos and BBQ plate lunches! There is no entry fee to Market Days, but you can bet on paying to park in the 6-8 different lots surrounding the grounds. No dogs are allowed at Market Days.

Went to Market Days this month. Lots of additions, i.e. very neat and available rest rooms and scattered eating places. It has grown the number of vendors--with lots of choices for "stuff". Really had a good time--opens at 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. They did announce closing at 3 today because of the heat. Best to go early to avoid Central Texas heat in the summer months.

We had so much fun, shopping, looking around, laughing and spending time with friends. You never know what you will find here anything from homemade jelly to old farm equipment. Plan on the day for there is lots to see.

Living in Wimberley you sometimes dread the first Saturday of the month because the population quaduples in size on that day. But with that said it is because of the extraordinary Wimberley Market Days that makes it so. You can find literally anything you want from gargage sale items to unique hand made crafts to DIY home improvements to music being pandered by local muscians. I have encountered folks from all over the US. One couple from Michigan said they came to Wimberley specifically for the Market Days. Now there is a day trip!! Honestly, if you don't buy anything you can enter the hourly drawing for $100 and eat some pretty good food and just enjoy the Hill Country air as well as a very eclectic atmosphere. Post script. You will have to pay for parking.

I loved how close it was to where I was staying at the Cypress Creek Cottages... very convenient! I found so many treasures there and got most of my Christmas shopping done easily since there was something for everything. I especially loved all the handmade crafts and vintage knickknacks!

Tons & Tons of Vendors. Happily no flea market - made in China stuff. Garage sale finds through truly unique handmade crafts. Bathrooms & concession areas were readily available & there was some live entertainment for those tired of walking around. Prices are very reasonable. there are 2 downsides - we spent almost 45 minutes going 2 miles through town - so my advice is to go early! The other downside is the dates & times - only 1 Saturday a month & its only open till 4pm. Plan on doing a lot of walking - it can be hilly in spots & the paths are winding.

I knew with around 400 booths it would not be like Canton, but I was not expecting so few treats or treasures in this market days. For one, it is only open one day, Saturday. It is not open for long on Saturday either. While walking around, the paths are curved and odd so you have to walk through some areas twice to make full loops through the market days. Most booths were garage sale type items. I only saw a handful of unique booths, and it was not at all flashy or enticing. Things were reasonably priced, and a few art pieces were nice to look at. Usually I find something at a market days, but here I found nothing. Fun for a 4 hour walk and getting some fresh air, but not for shopping.

This was our first experience going to Wimberley Market Days. Entrance is free; however plan on paying $5 for parking. The Lions also offer assistance with getting large items to your car for a fee of $10. There are over 400 booths so plan on doing quite a bit of walking, ie. wear comfortable shoes. If you stop at the information booth they will provide you with a map which comes in quite handy for first-timers. Booths have crafts, antiques, furniture, and pretty much anything you'd expect at a huge "yard sale" type venue. Food and drinks are available for sale.
