Attended the Sheridan Civic Theater Guild production of Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike directed by Gene Davis at the Carriage House Theater this past Saturday evening. OUTSTANDING performances, wonderful venue, not a bad seat in the house and it was packed!! Would highly recommend this local attraction to those who reside in the Sheridan area as well as those visitors traveling through. Looking forward to future productions.
Off Broadway doesn't bother us. From metro opera to local dance school productions, all genres available for your entertainment. Handicap access, minor concessions available in this refurbished historic theater
The WYO Theater in downtown Sheridan is a beautiful Art Deco theater featuring music, plays, and the occasional live-streamed opera from the Metropolitan in NYC. It has great acoustics, so it's an excellent place to appreciate everything from the amazing local talent to the excellent road shows put on throughout the year.It is very well-run and user friendly and is the hub of the community's cultural life.
This theater is pretty and clean inside. It has a lot of history behind it as well. They have a surprisingly diverse lineup of performances, but don't often get the national quality talent.
Breth taking in plays that they reinackt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I went to the WYO Theater for the first time to see Pam Tillis! I fell in love with this venue. It is a small venue that adds to the experience of seeing great artists, like Pam Tillis. Because of its atmosphere, it made the concert that more special. I would recommend that you make time to stop by and see a performance. It will definitely be a pleasurable one!
The play is held in the attic of the Carriage House to make you aware of what it would be like for the family to live there for so long. The performance was very moving and well done. Definately a must see!
Went to the play at the Carriage House last night. What an amazing plethora of tallent we have in our small community. I strongly recommend going.
