I had my son's 6th birthday party at Pirates on the Manasquan and it was such a great experience. All of the children had a blast and the parents kept saying what a wonderful party it was. The boat ride was so cool and stopping off on the island was a big hit. I would definitely recommend it.

I have been on Pirates of the Manasquan twice now & both experiences were wonderful! The birthday party is an amazing island adventure for kids. Every child was having a blast, loving the story, island, pirates, and the interaction they were able to have. It is extremely well run, the staff is great with the kids & keeping their attention/interaction, and the parents were having fun as well. It is a highly recommended adventure!

Our timid 3 year old girl ,whom we thought might be frightened, didnt stop smiling and dancing through the trip...She loved the boat ride to the island, and even, to our surprise, took pirate money from the sleeping pirate.....Well, I dont want to give away the whole trip but it was fun for all ages.We got great pictures of the baby...ARRR!!

I would not recommend this cruise. I met friends there who were running a bit late due to a traffic accident. I overheard the captain tell an employee that "he was not waiting for anyone". He did not know that I heard this. Then he was all smiles and nice to me and said "don't worry, its ok, we still have time for them to get here". The other "pirates"on the cruise were very nice and great with the kids. But overhearing this from the head guy really ruined it for me.The boat feels like a yacht and not a pirate ship. We landed on an island and had to walk down a stepladder that did not feel very safe. The "story" about the pirate sleeping on the island was cute, but it would have been nice to spend more time on the island and perhaps do a treasure hunt.The cost of this for myself plus 2 children was $60. For about the same price, I would recommend the other pirate cruise in NJ, Jersey Shore Pirates, for anyone with children. We took that cruise in 2013. Much nicer, friendlier, and cuter - and in a more remote area with less boat traffic.

I would definitely recommend this to friends and family of all ages. It was a perfect experience. Very friendly staff and accommodating to our party.

Went with my 4 children ages 2-7 and they all had a blast! The "crew" was funny and entertaining and did a great job! Kids got to shoot water off the side, find treasure, get off at treasure island and even had a dance party. Will for sure go again!

We had our daughters 6th birthday party on Pirates on the Manasquan and it was an amazing party. The ENTIRE STAFF was superb and kid friendly. The Adults had just as much fun as the children. I wouldn't hesitate having another party with this fantastic crew.

I got married in August at a facility right off the Manasquan River. As an added opportunity for fun and great pictures, we decided to ride on the pirate ship prior to going to our reception. We took our entire bridal party and photographer on the boat and needless to say it was one of the best decisions we made on our big day. Our entire bridal party had a great time and we were able to relax with a beautiful ride along the Manasquan. We took the boat to treasure island where we were able to take quite a few fun and unique pictures. I would definitely recommend this to other couples looking to have fun on their wedding day!

I had my son's 4th birthday party on the pirate ship and everyone had a blast. I even heard one of the kids saying, "this is the best birthday party ever!" The storyline is great and captures everyone's attention. They had so much fun trying to find the treasure map on the ship, shooting water cannons and stealing the treasure from the pirate on the island. We've even gone another couple times on a regular day and just as much fun!! It's definitely a must.

This is not the type of adventure you would normally find me on......even with and for the children, but I stretched the limits of my boundaries - and sure glad I joined the Family for the trip.Captain Mike Migg's is the Best.........he has the perfect "Pirate Personality" - and has a way to assure all have a fun time.Thankx Captain Migg's!

My family and I have been on The Pirates of the Manasquan 3 times and each trip was a different adventure. Whether it was the Pirate adventure, the Thursday night Fire works cruise, or the Mermaid Adventure for my daughters birthday. Each and every time Captain Miggs, Pirate Paul and staff were fun and professional! I loved that the fact that they were teachers and could really relate to the children as well as adults!!! I look forward to bringing my family back for another adventure this summer!!!

The staff was very understanding and helpful of my wife who is disabled. The staff assisted my wife on and off the ship they made it quite easy! We had a wonderful trip to see the fireworks and the Captain put us in perfect position to view the Point Pleasant fireworks!

Allaire Country Day Summer Camp in Wall has been doing this trip for the past two years and the kids have a blast! The staff was excellent and had every child involved! Shooting the cannons was definitely their favorite part. We will be going back again this summer for another fun-filled trip!

Cap'n Miggs and the hearty crew on board the Jersey Girl made our wedding day unforgettable and completely unique! They welcomed us aboard (bride, groom, and wedding party), where our photographer got some great shots of our entire wedding party! We then cruised down the Manasquan to the Lobster Shanty! The crew played upbeat music and a conga line broke out! When we got there, all of our wedding guests lined the deck of the cocktail hour room. We waved, they waved back, and then we shot them with the water cannons! (Just kidding, we did shoot but were super out of range so no one actually got wet). We docked at the Wharfside and could barely leave the boat, we were laughing so hard. It was a riot. The crew was professional and friendly, they definitely had safety first (did you know the ship is handicap accessible? love that!), and the music made the trip! You should definitely consider the Jersey Girl for a hysterical memory of the best day of your lives! Much aloha! :o) The MillersJune 8, 2013

Decided to try this with the grandchildren. Had a great time and the kids still cannot stop talking about it. I would suggest taking your kids here for an amazing experience! It's very relaxing for adults and the kids just have a blast. Totally going to do this again with them!
