Have been a customer here for more than 25 years, I can vouch for the value and quality this family provides. The Fields for Seasonal Picking are very accessible and the services provided are wonderful. They are a home for many Community and School Events during the season and the Girls are always there to give great advice to all.As a local customer, their sandwiches and especially their Cider and Donouts are worth a ride anyday.Lovely Family/Great Value/Worth the Drive.
We have a wonderful time picking fruit! My children 2 and 4 years loved picking plums peaches apples and pears. The people were warm and friendly! They had a play ground for the kids as well!
Really nice people who own it.. Homemade Donuts are fabulous. Just a good place to get fresh fruits and vegetables. Really good place. and old style caring..
The farm is nothing big or great, but they do make the absolutely best apple cider donuts in the world. When they're busy, you will have to wait for them to come out of the fryer and they will be to die for.
Had a nice day out with family and friends. favorite part? ... Cider & Donuts, of course ;)looking forward to this years apple & pear picking trip.
No one was really interested that we were there. We said we wanted to pick winesap apples. They said walk up the hill and follow the signs. Well halfway up the hill the only sign read, "Winesaps against the woods." Well there is about a mile of tree line wrapped around the acres of trees that contain apples. If they can't be bothered to properly mark the trees or have someone take up and show you where the trees are, then they don't deserve your business. Plus we ordered two sandwiches in the deli and one was made incorrectly. Lastly they have only port-a-johns for restroom facilities for the deli.
An old established farm with good produce. Worth stopping if only to check it out
...HOME MADE Everything. And fun trinkets...Many unique gifts. candies, old fashion prices to boots. several LARGE tablels and you feel right at home. Moutain Creek, "the boardwalk", Warwick Valley Winery and many other places right in this vicinity. I don
I really love this place. We went there last year and again last weekend (10/5/08) to pick apples. It's on a hill which gives great views of the trees and mountains around it. The trees have so many apples. Everyone is having a great time.I recommend packing a picnic and spending some time there. It's about 90 minutes outside of NYC and very easy to get to.
