First I must say I am a wine drinker not one for beer BUT this place is amazing. My husband and I visited with friends on Saturday 10/11/14. It was a rainy day so we decided to give this place a try. As previously mentioned I am not a beer drinker but found their beers very tasty. My husband is a basic beer drinker, happy with Bud Light or Corona but he also loved the selection. One of our friends who was with us loves craft beers and he thought everything was delicious. We sampled a hibiscus beer, and IPA and a Porter. The Porter was my favorite. It had a hint of chocolate, so yummy! The staff gave us a quick tour and then spent a nice amount of time explaining the workings of the brewery! If you're on Cape May county give this place a try! You won't regret it!
My Wife and i visited on 08/16/2014. Small intimate brewery with informative and friendly staff. Tour is quick but cool. You can taste all of there beers on tap and purchase pints afterwards. Pale ale and pumpkin beers were very good. Met some great people who were enjoying the brewery themselves. Laughed a lot and even shared snacks. Others brought chips and dips and we brought phila pretzels. Bring snacks and enjoy your tour and tastings. Met two cool guys named Jason and Matt. They were only going to stay for a few, had to replace the water heater and wife and kids were waiting for them. I think we got them in trouble. Lol Definately stop by Tuckahoe for some good beer. Good people, and good times.
My girlfriend and I heard about this place at one of the local watering holes, tasted what was on tap and decided this was a place we wanted to to. They did not disappoint! Generally they have three to five beers on tap for tasting. Everything is available by the growler (64oz). If you don't have one don't worry, they sell them! On occasion they have beer in bottle. If you appreciate craft beers this place is a must. Just be sure to GPS the place...it's a bit off the beaten path.
Fantastic beer. Great people. A definite place to visit. Stop in and try their beers. Very friendly.
I went for a tour and met James who is one of the co-owners. The place is located in a small wharehouse but they have a quick tour and then a few tables to sit at and sample the beers. It was a nice day so they had the roll up door open in the back of the brewery and we sat for a while and listened to James tell stories about the infancy of a brewery. I give these guys a lot of credit - it sounds like an up hill battle. anyway, there were only two beers to sample that day because they were basically sold out of the other two flavors. I was a little disappointed to find out that the wheat beer was sold out, but then James offered to pour me a glass right off the kettle - totally cool.
