high 5 ballooning

I am deathly afraid of heights, so not for me.. but let me say, the owner is wonderful. He has landed in my yard quite a few times, and I have had short conversations with him and his passengers as he as flown over my house and tree line before. if you like heights, you'll definitely be in good hands!

What a blast! An early morning balloon ride in the cold November air will surely wake you up! Tony and his crew were on time, knowledgeable and entertaining. Our flight was about 45 minutes in length. We soared above the trees (sometimes in the trees), picked pine cones and were lucky enough to have a clear day enabling us to see the Boston skyline in the distance. Being part of the action and helping the crew set up was fun. The champagne toast after the flight was a nice touch. Thank you Tony and crew for a fun-filled morning. My friends are already thinking about when they want to schedule their High 5 balloon ride! I HIGHLY recommend it! :)

Had a great sunrise flight! Arrived at 6am to sign waiver and get a safety briefing. Then proceeded to take-off site where we set up the balloons. Took flight probably around 8 and landed about 9. Afterwards we packed up the balloon and went to a nice picnic spot to have a small meal and champagne. Tony and the entire crew was absolutely great! Very helpful and informative. I was able to help set up and pack away the balloon which I enjoyed immensely. I tend to ask a lot of questions and Tony answered every single one I had. Would definitely go again!!

My wife surprised me for my birthday in September with a hot air balloon ride, that I've always wanted to do. We lifted off early in the morning, shortly after daybreak. Soaring over the countryside, seeing deer running through the fields below, watching as the mist rose from the ground as the sun heated the countryside was a magical moment. In true ballooning tradition, the farmer, whose field we landed, was presented with a bottle of champagne while a special morning treat of champagne, fruit and meats were enjoyed by the party.An unforgettable birthday indeed!!!!

It only took one reschedule, but, we were able to do a sunset cruise with Tony in the "Smiley Face" Balloon. There's a Information Talk beforehand, so you know what to expect and what is expected of you. You can help out or not, entirely up to you. My husband helped with blowing up the balloon and every one of us helped put it away. But I digress...You all climb into the van from your meeting spot on Ermer Road and drive to the Salem Town field behind Walmart. From there, we had a mini Balloon Fest. There was our Smiley Face balloon, a Yellow/Red balloon and a mostly blue one too. The more the merrier I say! Our pilot was Tony. Ahhh, Tony - is he a bit "cheesy" with the 'up up and away' music? Yes he is, however, the flight was spectacular with Tony as pilot. We went over the early foliage, saw the blue balloon in the reflection in the water in the Salem town forest, we went up so high we could see Hampton, NH - only 35 miles away, we flew over a party in progress and had a pillow soft landing. While aloft, there was the 186th marriage proposal!! She said yes! She was stunned and had no idea! Tony's crew was right there waiting for us in Brookhollow - a lovely neighborhood in Salem - we shared a nice bottle of champagne to end our adventure. A wonderful experience! I recommend highly (pun intended)!

I bought tickets for my husbands birthday in 2012 through an outside company and I had to actually plan weekend vacations around these flights because I didn't live close to any of the launch sites. They set us up with flights with horrible companies and for 2 years kept getting cancelled due to "bad weather" so I wasted thousands of dollars over 2 years and I was told by Oct 16th this year my tickets would expire and I would lose my money. Then I got lucky enough to schedule a flight with Tony he told me if his flight gets cancelled he would issue me 2 tickets so I wouldn't lose my money which was so generous of him and on the first attempt we had the perfect day for a sunset flight and it was definitely worth the 2 year wait!! Tony was a wonderful pilot and the crew was great!! I definitely recommend high 5 ballooning to everyone but go directly through them not an outside company!!

9/26/14 We had a great time this morning. Tony and crew were excellent. Very safety conscious. I didn't expect as many riders (8 total and Tony) but that only made the experience better! We were able to share a couple's 50th anniversary! I highly recommend taking a balloon ride with High 5.

My wife and I enjoyed our flight with High 5 Ballooning. We were up for over an hour and were thrilled by the sights and the informative bits of local interest from our pilot. It is a safe and different way to see the local area. Had an uneventful landing and ended the adventure with a nice glass of champagne and brunch provided by High 5. I would recommend this trip to anyone.

Our flight was a gift from our daughter to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.We had a beautiful morning to float gently above the trees and enjoy the sunrise over pretty NH.Tony is very knowledgeable about flight among other things and quite a character to boot.The crew, Russ and Sean, are great at their jobs and also very personable.A fun and memorable experience!

Wonderful flight, perfect weather, and no hassles from the TSA! A great way to celebrate 150 birthdays. What could be better than that?

We were the very first couple to get married in Tony's balloon in 2004 and we just celebrated our 10th anniversary once again high in the air over NH.The day was perfect and the views were amazing! Tony landed the balloon so softly that we didn't even know we had made contact. We will be back again for another "high".Highly recommend!!!

Tony and his crew were awesome . I enjoyed my first balloon flight and i suggest everyone should try it out once in their lifetime. Tony has a lot of knowledge on balloon flying only go to him

My kids and I took a ride With Tony and we loved it! He was professional, courteous and made the experience a truly memorable one. I am going to book another flight with High Five this fall and enjoy the beautiful autumn colors.

We arrived at the meeting point and met Tony, Sean and Russ. There was some concern regarding the higher level winds. We waited about half an hour and went to the launch site. Tony declared that it was safe to go. We helped to inflate the balloon and loaded up. I thought that we would be a little nervous but that was not the case. Liftoff was so smooth and gentle before we knew it we are above the tree tops. We could even see the sun reflecting of of the ocean. It is always possible that you may have to cancel at the last moment. The winds can be finicky and you never know until just before take off. Tony, Russ and Sean had our safety in mind but kept it on a casual fun level. I loved being able to help set up the balloon and packing it away. Treat yourself and go fly with Tony and his crew.
