applewood orchard

This was a fun Sunday afternoon outing for my wife and I, two of our adult children, and our granddaughter.We were looking for a simple apple orchard near the Minneapolis metro area and Applewood Orchard was just right. No admission charge, however there were charges for some activities like a hay wagon ride. We came to pick some apples and they had a good system and plenty of apples. We filled baskets with the apples we wanted, then brought them to the store to be weighed for payment. There were no Honeycrisp apples left on the trees, however they had some bagged for sale in the store.
