This is the way ALL theaters should be! Stretch out...enjoy the show...even have your lunch brought in for you. It's the best theater anywhere! We joined the Rewards Club and after a few visits receive $5 credits toward food. These guys know how to do it right.
We watched Unbroken here and had to sit in row 1. Fortunately with the recliner seats we could lay back and still enjoy the movie. It saved my neck. Now it's our first choice for movie going. The seats and space are supremely first rate!
If you want an extremely comfortable and relaxed movie experience, this is a great theater. The ticket prices are the same range as a "regular" theater, but at this one you get to sit in a recliner and snuggle up with your movie date, plus enjoy the film with an alcoholic beverage if you like. And if you arrive a little early you can hang out in the bar, which is quite nice. On Tuesdays all tickets are $5, so that is a great deal. This theater can get expensive if you do buy drinks, but it's worth it.
It's our favorite place to watch movies after the recliner seats were installed. Earlier we were regular to Carmike , but now we plan to watch all our movies here at the Ultra Screen and that too on Tuesday when they charge $5 for movies and also give free popcorn. Remember to get the free Marcus membership card to avail this facility. It's nice to watch lengthy movies on recliner and advance seat bookings with reserved seat number is excellent.
This is my first time here since the new recliners plan took over! Wow, what a great update! It was super comfortable and very clean. I will agree with a previous reviewer here, in that the whole place smells like a bathroom when you walk in. Definite ventilation problem. Once you get past it and into the theater though, I did not notice. Lobby, bar, concession stand....gross smell. There must be something they can do!
Best seating, food, and staff! I really hate seeing a movie anywhere but here. You can grab a sting in the bar before a movie and the bistro theaters have food and beverage servers!
When you want something or wish to express a thought they listen and are very helpful. Popcorn is popcorn, but when it is a personable person selling it to you, so much better!
It is a nice place to watch a movie, comfortable seating, lots of food/snack options. It is located near the Fleet Farm in Oakdale.
Reclining seats, state of the art sound and video, amazing concessions and a great loyalty reward program!
Best, most comfortable seats I've sat in yet. I always go to this theater and I absolutely love it. It has a great restaurant inside where you can order pizza and bring it into the theater. Plus its convenient.
Comfortable and clean. The recliners make the move even better. Like all bigger theaters, it's a little expensive, but worth it.
Marcus Theater has always been our favorite, but now they've outdone themselves, installing electric-controlled Dreamliner recliners in their theaters...and they are roomy and comfortable. It makes all the difference in the world to watch a movie in comfort. Also, you can reserve and pay for your seats on-line. Great ideas, Marcus!
We go out to the movies a lot and since this is closest theater our house it SHOULD be the go-to stop for movies. But despite it's good points, I usually look elsewhere.First.....the good. 1) The electric leather lounge seats are AMAZING. It's like sitting in the living room. 2) I do like that the seating is reserved so instead of trying to get there early to get a good seat I can just reserve online from home. 3) We love the pizza and usually order one to bring into the theater to eat during the preview. 4) I like the ticket kiosks - no waiting in line to get tickets.Now....the bad. 1) The food at the regular concession stand is marginal at best and definitely overpriced, especially the water. 2) The chocolate chip cookies are AWFUL little blobs of petrified wood 3) The concession lines are long and it seams to be because the staff is clueless. They always have a few "managers" floating around behind the counter looking important but they should be TRAINING/SUPERVISING/HELPING instead of just acting important. The biggest problem at this place, however, is the smell. EVERY TIME you walk down either hallway all you smell is bathroom. There are obviously some air flow/drainage issues here. I expect to bathroom/urine smells when I'm in a grungy old gas station but I don't want to smell it every time I walk down the hallway in a modern theater.I really do wish I loved this place since its close and I love the seating and the pizza. But the things I hate outweigh the things I love.
I love this theater. All recliners. Tasty popcorn. I love that I can book my seats online and I know where I will be seated. I don't have to get there super early just for a decent seat. The concession folks understand my addition to butter. Yes, I want butter covered butter covered popcorn. No questions. We get along just fine. More butter. Enjoy your movie. Yes! That's what I'm talking about.I try to watch every movie here.
The theater is very nice, stadium seating, nice lobby area, etc. but be sure to bring a sweater - it's chilly!!The concession stand was another story. They have Pepsi products, but no Diet Mountain Dew - seriously?? Only Diet Pepsi - blech! That was bad enough but the popcorn was the worst I've ever had in a theater; I didn't put any of their "butter" on it so it was just the popcorn. We didn't even eat half the bag - which is foreign as we normally will refill the bag on the way out. Go for the movie and enjoy what's on the big screen!
