arcola mills visitors center

I had my wedding here August 2012. It was a great venue. The view was amazing. Very intimate on the porch wedding overlooking the St. Croix River.

Technically speaking Arcola Mills Visitors Center is part of the St. Croix National Scenic Waterway and information on Arcola Mills is found on the St. Croix National Scenic Waterway website.The Arcola Mills site is on the shores of the St. Croix River and features the Mower House along with the site of a historic lumber mill, and many hiking trials. The house itself is beautiful and serves as the visitors center. You can tour a small portion of the house plus view a film.The house and land is on the site of a prosperous logging village established in the early 1840.Well worth the effort to find.
