clear lake state park

We went to Clear Lake State Park as children. Going back there as an adult, I was ready to be disappointed. (We all know how childhood destinations seem so much smaller when we grow up.)But it's still a wonderful place, with great views of the lake, a nice beach, nice amenities. It has been very well-kept over the years and is very clean. The campground looks nice and we'll keep it in mind for a future stay.And I love the lodge.

The gently sloping sand beach was perfect for 7 grand kids to play & paddle. The weather was a bit cool so the area was not crowded at all. It was a perfect afternoon of fun.

Gorgeous view of the lake....nice and open with a sprawling beach. The campground is spacious and well maintained. The lodge is very cool!

This whole town was just a pleasure to discover. We were so pleasantly suprised and cant wait to come here again next summer!

We camp at this park whenever we have chance to go camping in clear lake. There are many spaces we try to get the space right across from the playground. The beach is within walking distance of the campground and has plenty of picnic tables. Very nice campground, clean restrooms and showers

Clear Lake is very beautiful.. this was our first visit and we will be back. When we went, this week, it was cold so the fish weren't biting, but it was nice to walk around when it was not busy. Some cute stores, lots of parks, and great sidewalks/friendly streets to walk and ride a bike.
