Variety of small shops for shopping for gifts. Good view of the river. Nice places to eat including a bar and grill.

Great place to stroll and look at store fronts. Cute shops and restaurants. They have a really nice soap shop called The Soap Box. Wish they had some antique shops. Need more quaint stores.

This area is cute with a few decent places to eat, a few cute shops, and a coffee shop. If you are driving near by, this is fun to see. This area is not worth going out of your way to visit.

The 11 th St Precinct was busy, food was great..had the pork tender with fresh fries..then walked down the street peaking in lot of shops. Ventured into Lagomarcinos and got some hometown hand dipped chocolates. The building had been a pizza parlor a decade ago, but the Largomarcinos remodeled it to look like their vintage shop on th Illinois side of the QC. Wish I had room for an old fashioned ice cream sundae but made do with a box of chocolate to go.

I live in the village of east davenport, and I love it. We have conveniences such as the kwik shop gas station.but wet also have alot of quaint shops. Great place to live our visit with a park that has a great view of the Mississippi river

All kinds of great little local owned shops. Good bars in the area and good places to eat. Wine bars are also very good and this is a safe area.

We went on a Friday afternoon. It was a really nice day and all of the shops were open. We stopped in the plaid rabbit and the soap shop. The people working were very friendly and attentive. We stopped for lunch at a candy shop that also had a deli, which was amazing! It's very near the river if you also wanted to check that out too!

Village is mostly comprised of restaurants with only a couple of stores. That being said, you will find many nice places in which to catch a bite. There are many older interesting buildings, but older homes are truly what you should seek out.

Visited on a Thursday around 11.30am and apart from a couple of shops and one restaurant and everywhere else was closed! This despite some signs saying that they open at 10.00am. What a shame as it did look pretty!

We went there for Sunday morning breakfast. This sleepy little town was VERY sleepy on Sunday, almost nothing was open. It was still obvious that much thought and artistic push has been put into this development.

The Village of East Davenport is located on the south eastern corner of Davenport. (a lot of people think it is northern Davenport because it is upriver from downtown, but the river runs east to west in this portion of the mighty Mississippi). This little historic neighborhood boasts some of Davenport's most adorable shops. There's a lot to eat and drink, including Rudy's Tacos which is Tex-Mex and Lagomarinos which is an old soda fountain with hand made confections, chocolates, and so much more. The village also hosts many festivals, art shows, bicycle races, foot races and more. I have the privilege of living within two blocks of this neighborhood when I was in college and it's great for daytime with the family or nighttime as a couple or with friends. The 11th Street Precinct almost always has live music on the weekends and has a decent menu.

in the middle of a metro area. The Quad Cities is a fun visit anyway, but if you come here, you need to visit the Village. Have a green river at the soda fountain at Logomarcino's (or great ice cream or chocolate candies, lunch is good too), or try one of the eating places (Rudy's Taco's is good Tex/Mex or there is the Corner Deli) stroll down to the Mississippi, take a ride on the Channel Cat, or visit one of several consignment shops. Or just sit on a bench and enjoy the beautiful flowers in the pots and gardens around the village. If you want an adult beverage, don't skip Grumpy's!

This is not a river town, but it is near the Mississippi. It is small but has a lot of nice little shops, restaurants, and things to see. We did a wine walk through town and went in a bunch of local businesses. It was a great day. This town is north of Davenport and is a fun place!

My favorite new place to hang out is Grumpy's Village Saloon. The new owner's, Carrie and Pete. have done a fabulous job of updating a tired old bar into a world class Saloon. The entire exterior has been remodeled and looks BEAUTIFUL and there's now a lovely partially covered patio in the back. The interior has kept it's old-world charm and I've heard there's plenty more changes to come.Good luck with all the future plans for this diamond in the rough!
