limey's pub

Wanted to give my favorite pub a newer review since it seems it's been awhile since they've had one. I have been going here for years. We meet here with friends and family on a regular basis. The food here is awesome! Everyone I know loves the cheese balls, my favorite is the Alfredo special pizza, my wife loves the buffalo chicken wrap. The burgers and sandwiches are all great with large portions. The staff at Limeys are all amazing. They do a great job making you feel welcome and if you go regularly you will get to know them all very well too, and they will take care of you. Plus they're good at their job. This spot gets busy during major t.v. sporting events and weekends, weekdays it's pretty chill. Also there's pool in the back. No longer smoking since Iowa passed the law banning it, but there's a nice patio area for smokers. Also, why is Limeys listed as an attraction and not a restaurant!?

Been going to Limey's for years. Ken and Kim run a good bar. Fun friendly atmosphere and maybe the best bar food in town!

Dirty but has more personality than any other bar in WDM. Food is surprisingly good.

Karaoke was going on when we got there. Despite all that we had a good time and a great waitress!!

If you like breakfast, you'll love Limeys. They make their Bloody Mary's from scratch and the menu is GREAT. It is a smoking bar but generally in the morning there aren't a lot of the bar-crowd in there. You can get a comfortable seat in front of their big-screen and watch ESPN while you dine. The coffee is also good. My favorite is the eggs benedict, but the 'mess skillet' is good, pancakes are homemade, and don't forget the Bloody Mary!It's a little out of the way, but well worth the journey. Located in a strip mall right next to the grocery store (Hy Vee)
