They have a nice collection of various art and artists for a smaller town. It's all rather nice and has a warm feeling to it. It was a nice experience.
I go twice a year one in April and one in October. I like some better than others. I just wish they had a finer clarified category. some poems are rap and good but not like true poetry. Also, they have teenager going against adults. Not a very good balance.
Thank you so much for writing a review. However, the exhibit you mention in your review was at the Museum of Idaho, which is a different museum also located in Idaho Falls. We are located on the Idaho Falls Greenbelt and offer rotating art exhibits. Our current exhibit is Art and Disaster, which includes paintings, paper sculptures and an instillation piece. We would love for you to visit our museum. We do offer FREE admission to the public the first Saturday of every month. Thanks again!
On display were a number of wonderful collections of art, some from local artists. We especially liked the collection of watercolors by Deon Romrell (a local artist).

I must say I was quite impressed with this stay in Idaho Falls. Had more time witht the family to take in some sites. The museum was cool, my wife is very into art had a great time.
This is a beautiful museum highlighting local Talent and I do mean talent with a capital T. The museum sits right on the Snake River just south of the falls. Right now they have a great woodfired sculpture ehibit from Rich Briggs. They also have a childrens Art corner where children can make art and they have a great watercolor ehibit of Zions National Park and a beautiful room of filled with great local art. I had no idea that Idaho Falls had such a great art community.
