The first thing I noticed was my shoes stuck to the floor and it stank. I was there at about 7:45; there was a band playing in the park and a great farmers market, thought this bar would be a great place to eat. The place was dead, like maybe 6 people. Strange for a huge bar in the summer. Burger was over cooked and dry. I had one drink, a white russian, which the bartender served with a cherry.( should not be served with a cherry) Bartender never introduced himself and never asked me if I wanted another drink. Most disturbing was asking about the bar and being introduced to the owner who was drinking with his staff!! He never got out of his seat and shook my hand or asked where I was from. Seems the bars main market is (quoted by the owner) "the young kids who like to bump and grind" that come to party there after the Red Lion closes for the evening. Bar has great potential but needs a great manager or new owner.
Went to grab a bite in the winter holidays, it was quite, not too much people then the next day got overcharged and the number was just ringing.. After service satisfaction was poor in my option. One place thats not getting my money.
My husband and I were at the Boom Town Saloon In August of 2012. We had a great timetheir during the show and shine and cruise - AWSOME!! They had the front window openso you could just sit, enjoy your food and drink and watch the cruise. The staff was veryattentive. Thanks for a good time, we'll be back.John and Marlene
This Bar is packed full of sleezy, sloppy people. It's not a surprise to see more than one fight in a night. The staff is very rude and unprofessional. The business doesn't allow men to wear tank tops, a common piece of clothing. I've seen multiple men scolded at by the bouncers and unable to enter because they were wearing tank tops. The bathrooms have a steady flow of urine caking the floors and filling the air with odor. The music is loud as all hell so don't count on having any type of intelligent conversation, if you have any at all. When it's all said and done, the establishment(or lack of) is a cheesy, douchey, overran bar with tacky music and trashy people. It also has a cover charge, as if it were worth paying to get into.
I've been to this bar twice. The first time, I racked up a $25 tab. The next day on my online checking account, I noticed they charged me twice. Two $25 charges. I went back to talk to them about the mistake and no one was willing to help me. They looked at me like I was trying to steal from them and told me to beat it. The second time I went there (God knows why) I ordered a beer ($4) and tipped the guy a buck. $5 total. The next day on my online checking account, I noticed they charged me $25. This time I called them about the issue. He said there was a $20 minimum charge on all debit cards, which still does not explain why I got charged $25. They basically stole $45 from me in two visits. The guy probably hoped I was drunk and increased his tip. Definitely do not go here. Shady business, and a terrible bar.
The place is really turning it self around, the thugs and punk, seem to get turned away. Friendly crew and really good food.
Great place to get in a fight or have someone bring your girlfriend a roofies cocktail. Very overpriced drinks and music so loud you wont have to worry about having any conversations. It was a respectable bar at one time, but became a sleeze hole once the bar down the street closed and their patrons moved on.
This bar is the sleeziest bar I have ever seen. People get into fights there multiple times a night. The people there are very uhh...interesting to say the least. If you want to get into fights, have drinks spilled on you all night and pay way too much for drinks, THIS IS YOUR BAR!!
