I had the opportunity to take a tour of this museum and I love it! I love a museum that is hands on and very interactive! They have a phenomenal collection of antiques and early era household items. It's a step back into time. The fossil collection is amazing as well! Ask for the black light demo. You will not be disappointed!

Great for adults and children. Interactive exhibits. Very interesting about the people in the great basin area.

This museum has a really good collection of regional fossils and minerals. Be sure to ask the volunteers to show you the black light demonstration with their mineral cabinet!They do have a very extensive collection of memorabilia from Delta and the region nearby including Hinckley, Oasis and the Topaz Internment Camp. The museum suffers from the same issue that many small regional museums do - lots of cool artifacts but minimal budget to properly display them and tell a good story. The history here is really fascinating but you need to take your time to understand it all. My suggestion is that you visit the museum and be sure to make a donation so they can develop the collection they have!

Visitors won't be disappointed at this rare small town museum with its many artifacts and fossils unique to the area. My husband and I learned so much about the history of Utah's land and the people that have occupied the area. We had never heard of Lake Bonneville or that it covered most of Utah! The museum does a wonderful presentation replicating local life with many original pieces that have been donated (like an entire wooden store counter complete with the items for sale, Dick and Jane story boards that teachers would have shown their class, medical and dental set ups with real equipment, travel, etc.) There is also a working model railroad with a current satellite photo that still shows the giant imprint left of the earth!
