windtree golf club

For the same amount of money I played Forrest crossing and pine creek which were 1000x better.They watered several of the greens during our round and we had to wait to tee off... On a Sunday! Fairways were in bad shape and new sod was already dying. Very poor maintenance and a true dog track.

I played Windtree several weeks ago while vacationing in Nashville. Nice layout but the course conditions were poor; too many fairways were "burnt up". The rest of the curse suffered from a lack of watering.The only good thing was the greens were OK. Paid $28 bucks so I guess I got what I paid for.

I had seen this course on the internet and during a family trip to Nashville had a chance to play it. It was about what I expected. It was a good value and a fun course to play. If I had one major issue it was that they booked us for tee times and then four hours later had a scramble starting and this was on a Saturday, which we did not know about until we were playing. We were told by a staff member to play faster over the last three holes. that is the only reason I wouldn't give this a four star rating. As for the course, it was rough around some edges but all in all a good track and I would play there again. There was at least one hole that had a different yardage posted at the tee box than was on the card (par 3 5th) but other than that no real problems other than people not fixing their divots on the bent grass greens. The staff was polite and personable.

The course lays out with several elevation changes and several traditional lengthy water holes. Trees are placed in very strategic places that require shot management mixed in with water the length of a couple. You can be daring and drive a par 4 over water and trees on #3 as well as lenghth with hills on 13. The greens and fairways are well maintained and rough is consistent. A fun course to play that rewards you for accuracy. One of my favorites in the Nashville area.

This is an average ability golf course. Well taken care of and scenic. We golf there weekly and enjoy it.

First time to play Windtree. Great shape, reasonable challenge at a fair price. Highly recommend this course.

Nice clubhouse, friendly and helpful staff. Course has some good views of hills and rivers. The golf course is fairly challenging but we were playing when it was dormant at the end of the season. I disliked the first four holes on the back nine, specifically disliked the back to back par 3's sandwiched between short par 5's played down and up a very steep hill. This is the result of a redesign most likely driven by a neighboring property. The other 14 holes were much better. The price to play is reasonable.

Wonderful golf course will rolling terrain and elevation changes. Challenging and fun to play. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy a round of golf with your buddies, this is your place.

Folks are friendly. Great golf course with plenty of challenge around the 18 holes. Trying rough that will cause problems if you do not keep it in the fairway. Very fairly priced. Great shape for a public course that get TONS of play.

Good golf course in good condition for the area. Thick rough can frustrate here, but it is good golf nonetheless.

Awesome place for a round. Reasonable in price. Great staff.
