st. paul's episcopal church

This building is well preserved and worth going to see. Use often for weddings and funerals. Make sure you go inside.

Lovely old church and grounds (cemetery) where several Confederate luminaries are interred. Church is closed except for special occasions but still interesting to see the original architecture.

There are Tiffany windows here, but what I love more, as a local, is that this grand and historic church is open all the time. Try it. Dare to push open the doors at any hour and you will see enough lights come on to guide you in to where you can walk and gaze and maybe find that "though perhaps he came to scoff, he may remain to pray."

Love the history of this church. Proud they still in downtown. Hope to catch a service the next time.
