Great place in the warehouse\industrial section-staff is outstanding (Ben is a king). Had a fantastic band playing. Will be back.

Stopped by for the first time for a few drinks. I ordered a beer sampler. All the beers were good, but I wish they would allow the patron to customize their sampler instead of predetermining the choices. Otherwise, it has a nice seating area and made for an enjoyable evening.

I cannot say enough about the place. Tour is very inexpensive and well worth the few dollars you pay, comes with samples! Been back a few times, beer bar in back, they have live music on most Friday and Saturday nights. Indoor and outdoor seating. They don’t do food themselves but usually have a food truck out back that does some wonderful food. Come on down and see for yourself. If you like good beer, easy going crowd and good music you will like it here too.

Having visited several times, the craft beer has been carefully brewed for many different tastes. I would recommend doing the sampler, ordering your favorite, then taking home a growler or two. The tour is very informative as well. It is apparent that the owners have put a lot of work and thought into turning a warehouse into a fun atmosphere that produces a variety of tasty products. Whether you sit at the bar, the indoor seating area, or on the outdoor deck it is a great experience. On weekends you are likely to see a live band and occasionally a craft fair in the parking lot. Some of the best local restaurants will bring in food in on "traveling vans" that is always tasty.

I was a little skeptical going into the place. Industrial area and not fancy on the outside. When you enter you head down a long hall - think converted warehouse. Once you get inside, the place is very nice - large bar and seating area including an outdoor deck. Kinda surprised by the $6 charge for the tour, BUT it was the best $6 I've ever spent. First you get a pint glass (which is yours to keep) for the tour. You get to try each beer during the tour and it's not your typical tasting. They literally fill your glass and you can have more. The entertainment value alone is worth the $6. Ozzy (the owner) leads the tours. I won't give anything away, but if you don't mind tattoos, bawdy language/jokes and velvet paintings of naked women, then I highly recommend a visit to Mayday Brewery. There was a food truck onsite that day serving very good food and there was music that evening. And the beer is EXCELLENT.

After a long day of shopping we detoured to Mayday Brewery. We've been wanting to stop in since I moved to Tennessee. Pleasantly surprised at the location we stumbled upon. Actually we kept getting lost through the industrial area. Hint? Very close to the downtown square. Loading dock in front. Big picnic tables and outdoor space for those warm Tennessee nights. We participated in the Mayday sample. My partner loved the Evil Octopus. I took a liking to the Angry Redhead. Clever sample holders with the Mayday logo and attentive staff made for an enjoyable stop. I'm personally very outgoing and had no problem asking questions about the brewery and everything it offered. Lisa in particular took care of us and was very informative about how it all started. She even said she would get me to meet the owner who's very hands on. We didn't do the tour that day but found some live music in the brew house just before we left. Great way to get people in the door. I pulled the owner Ozzie to our table for a few moments. Enjoyed his whimsical attitude and great personality. Made me feel like I was back home in Michigan with a few good friends. A food truck offers some great treats outside to enhance the experience. Truly though, the conversation piece of the brewery is in the ladies bathroom. Interesting. I loved it! Overall I recommend Mayday Brewery for a night with friends. Check out their facebook as they seem to always have something going on. I plan on stopping by with some good Michigan folks now and then to enjoy a nice night out.

I am a big fan of local breweries, so decided to check this place out while visiting family. The brewery is located in an old factory that has been converted to other uses and looks fantastic. Staff was friendly, talkative, and very knowledgeable about their beers. Tours are only offered on Saturday, but cost $8 or so. However, there is some type of living social deal that includes a tour, tshirt, pint glass, and free beer.

We bought the living social for the tour/ tasting/ tshirt/ glass combo. We've tried all the local breweries for the most part, as well as ones in Atlanta so the 30-40 minute drive to the Boro didn't seem too bad. Wow, we were very impressed first off with the facilities. Second, the staff was exceptional. Third, the tour with Ozzy (owner) was both funny and informative.Fourth, the beer was all great. All the way from the Blonde to the Evil Octopus. Fifth, they had a tv truck set up outside so you wouldn't miss the important game(s) as well as a food truck. Don't hesitate to make the short drive to the 'Boro and spend a few hours on a Saturday afternoon. We'll be back.
