Craft beer at the bar and samples available. Great staff and family games available at the premises. It is a genuine tap room with all the trimmings. Small out side seating area. There are valued coupons available frequently and club style member ships that award a special glass size for your beer. Sit down and get a bucket full of peanuts, put the peanuts in a beer can opened at the end and the shells in a bucket. Enjoy the beers!

After a day of traveling to Boulder we stopped for a brew and app at the OB. Had a nice couple of craft-brews on the deck and watched the sun go down. The day couldn't have been more perfectly capped.

The atmosphere is what you would expect from a small little community. Very friendly service, loved the music and the pictures on the walls. Felt very rustic to me. We were on vacation from Alabama, so it was a very nice experience for us. BEST fried pickles I have ever had, they were spicy. I am from the south, and have had lots of fried pickles, these kicked BUTT big time. We will go back if we can.

The atmosphere of this place is great. The staff was very friendly and beer was excellent. Definitely a must if you find yourself in Longmont!

Went for the first time and it is a great brewery. They had an excellent band playing plenty of peanuts and the beer was excellent. We asked if they were doing any tours and they said that they were not but came to use a few minutes later and gave us a private tour. Excellent time by all. If you don't like beer then try their root beer as it is also excellent. Give this brewery a visit you will enjoy it.

My husband loves this tap room and he especially loves the beer. Oskar's makes great beer and has a huge local following. Highly recommend.

go online and check to see if a band is playing. go to the tap room to check the specials on the board - they usually are playing around with different beers, tapping on Tuesdays and Fridays. Plentiful free peanuts.

We went on a self guided beer tour yesterday and it was disappointing to say the least. We started out at The Alchemist where they were out of beer, yes, out of beer. A fellow beer tour friend said it was like going to a restaurant and them having no food...Then the second stop was Rock Art. The staff was so lame and almost made it a point to try to NOT talk to us. We were the only ones there. They were obviously not vested in this and only wanted their day to end so they could make their $9 per hour. Then we went to Hill Farmstead. They need to figure that out. It was a 20 foot line that took 2 hours to wait in to get your growlers filled. HUH?We just came back from Colorado where we visited Oskar Blues and New Belgium. These places were fun, the people engaging and they were proud of there beer and wanted to share it with us and talk to us about it all day long if we had wanted to.Boo so far to my home state of Vermont.Kudos to our friends in Colorado.

Tap rooms are not uncommon with NC breweries. It's kind of like a bar, but they only serve beer from that brewery (slightly discounted). They do a good job at Oskar Blues. You can buy swag and take tours at certain times. Free peanuts to munch on with your beer. You might even meet some interesting people.

My husband and I enjoyed hanging out at the tap room and taking a tour of the brewery. We ordered the beer flight that came with ~4 ounce samplers of G'Knight Imperial Red, Dale's Pale Ale, Mama's Little Yella Pils, Deviant Dale's IPA, Gubna IPA, Old Chub Scotch Ale, and the Ten Fidy Stout. After we were done with our beers, we had an Oskar Blues root beer which was also really tasty! It was a nice and relaxing atmosphere to hang out at for a while. There was a food truck in the parking lot if you wanted to order food, but we skipped out on that.

This is our local brewery and one of our favorite places Longmont! They have your traditional Oskar Blues beers and a few that are only available at the taproom, so you can feel special getting to try those. This is a dog friendly brewery so feel free to bring your well-mannered dog along. Our dog has been here dozens of times and he loves the peanuts he can find lying around. The staff is super friendly and it is full of locals. They due offer tours, but we have yet to be on one since we always bring our dog. It is important to note that they close early, I believe it is 8pm, because they are close to a neighborhood that doesn't appreciate their late night noise. If you are visiting from out of town I highly suggest stopping by the Weasel!!

We love Dale's Pale Ale, so naturally headed to this brewery to try it first hand. Not disappointed by any means. Did not do tour, but had a seat at the bar/also plenty of tables too, and started our tastings. Employees glad to tell you about beer and noticed many locals enjoying happy hour. Food truck available outside, which you can bring inside to eat. It was a chilly day, but I bet when the weather is nice the big garage door open and the atmosphere can be pretty cool. Great stop for us!

Unfortunately it had to be a rather short stop due to our time needed on that road that day to keep on our schedule and I was unable to make it to one of the tours. I am from quite a bit away from the Tasty Weasel, but as soon as my family decided to take a two-week tour out west, I was very insistant on taking the north route through Colorado there or back and stopping at the Tasty Weasel. I probably added about an hour on to our trip that day, but it was one of the best, if not the best, hours of the entire two weeks. Up till then I had only tried their Dale's Pale Ale and Mama's Little Yella Pils. I enjoyed every single one, but with all the great choices I ended up buying two growlers (Ten FIDY and Ol' Chub). The bartender was wondering how I knew about Oskar Blues since they were not in Ohio at that point, but fortunately I traveled frequently to Pennsylvania which offered it. Now Oskar Blues is in Ohio and I can get me a sixer of Ol' Chub whenever I want. Great place with great beers and friendly staff.

The taproom is a rustic industrial garage layout, with a long bar forward of the brewing/canning/kegging facility. There are plenty of seating, plenty of quality microbrews on tap, and plenty of free shelled peanuts to go with the beer. They offer a 45-minute tour of their facility, telling the story of the beer-making and canning/kegging process. There is a limited number of people that can go on the tour at once and I believe that it's only offered once per day Monday-Thursday and three times per day Friday-Sunday. The tour becomes quite popular on weekends, so make sure that you don't procrastinate too much and get there in the early afternoon. The facility tour ends with a free 4 ounce taster of your choice. If you're a lover of dark microbrews, I'd recommend the Tenfidy Imperial Stout. If you're not a big high-alcohol microbrew fan, you may be out-of-luck because most of their brews are between 5.3% and 10.5% alcohol by volume. If you're ever in Longmont, you owe it to yourself to go to the Tasty Weasel Tap Room.
