the very nice brewing company

Very Nice is a small brewery in Nederland, with interesting and tasty beers and a great atmosphere. Very comfortable and friendly, with the owners brewing and serving. The two black IPA's were very good, although not hugely hoppy. Really nice malt profiles. The Greener's Gruit was also interesting - a very sour beer brewed without hops. I liked it, but my wife not so much. Good place to spend some pleasant time with good beer.

Monk's Phunk was really good! I am not a beer drinker, but this one was awesome. Adorable little store-front with friendly staff. A great place to just hang out.

I've been following Very Nice since its inception.Jeff is very passionate about beer. He makes really tasty hoppy beers both in the IPA & PA categories.My favorite is the "Freshy", where he uses fresh hops gathered locally. If you are into dark beers, Jeff makes a very well balanced Stout.

It is nice to have a beer selection that is all over the board; from the type of brew, to a range of alcohol levels. You are bound to find a frothy one that suits you. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, whether it is your first time in or you are a regular. They also sell the best growlers on the market.

Laid back. With inside picnic tables, views of the nearby 13,000 foot peaks and the tastiest of beverages, this place hits the nail on the head for locals and travelers alike. With no pretentious, high falootin, over thought, avant guarde airs, the tap room has the feel of a cozy blanket. Bring some food from anywhere (home, the grocery or one of Ned's dozen restaurants), bring the kids... You can even bring the dogs! Have a beer, a seat and conversation, it's THE way to enjoy a day in the high country.

The place is a blast....great vibe. The beer is outstanding. Love that they allow well behaved dogs. The owners are really cool and nice. The wife is gorgeous. The husband looks like Big Foot meets beer geek. They both take time to educate you about their beers. Get some schwag....t-shirts, stickers, mugs, growlers....can even get beer to go! This is more of a nanobrewery but serves excellent beers. The Steffe's Hefewezien is top notch and they have several IPA's and a stout on hand. It has a cozy feel to it with a bar, benches, and even a pinball machine.
