Went to Dry Dock Brewing Company on a Saturday evening. Nice crowd in the rooms. Cool natural unfinished wood tables. Lots of beer in barrels aging in one part of the bar. Great atmosphere for a beer bar.The beers were excellent!! I did the six beer flight. The Apricot Ale was very good, if you like moderately sweet fruity beer. The Hefeweizen was one of the best I have ever had and I love hefes!!!! The only one of the six that was not great was the third I tried, the Rabbit Red Gruit. Not very sour like I was expecting but still a nice drinkable beer. The Chocolate Raspberry was very good without the raspberry flavor being overpowering. The Vanilla Porter was also very good. The last sample I had was the Topsail Tripel and again it was drinkable and excellent. If you are in Denver you need to hit Dry Dock Brewing. If fact I think we are going to go again today but to the location on the North side of Denver.
This is such a great place to go to. If you enjoy really good beer, this is the place for you. The staff is super friendly and patient if you are a first time attendee. It really sucks that it's small location, they deserve to have the space around them to accommodate all the people who go there. It has such a great atmosphere from the people who go there. Great place to go with friends and endless options.
I regularly stop into DryDock as it is by my home. I enjoy all the choices of local made beers. It is a great place to go after work, you can bring outside food and have happy hour there with beers. I love getting the paddle and having a ton if flavors. The only con is that they do close rather early.
Stopped by to try a flight of beers. Apricot blonde was my fav. My husband is an IPA man, and he really liked the variety they have. Staff was outgoing and helpful.
Dry Dock offers quite a variety of different styles of beer, including presently an old ale, IPA, DIPA, English IPA, hefeweizen, Belgian, ESB, and apricot blonde. None of them were out-of-this-world to my taste buds, but none of them were bombs either. I'd go back again.
