church of st. joachim

I'm not religious, so I haven't had any reason to set foot in a church except to check out stained-glass windows or other impressive decorations inside major landmarks such as the cathedrals in Cologne and Munich. But I did recently go inside this church to attend the wedding of my girlfriend’s cousin.Although I can't say I understand the mythology behind the church's interior decoration, it does have some small but nice stained-glass windows.The wedding was attended by about 200 people, which is large by my standards, but there was enough space in the church for everyone. There wasn't enough space in the church’s small parking lot, however, so the wedding guests’ cars must have taken up whatever street parking was available for blocks.
