pole position raceway

We had a blast here with some customers that were looking for some entertainment. These karts are no joke. Very fast and very fun!

My two sons have annual memberships to Pole Position. My oldest loves this place so much that he wanted to have his party here. The pricing was exceptionally outrageous to have a party there so we decided to just take the five boys racing and then out for pizza. My husband and I got all the participants registered and then went up to get them signed in and pay. Two of the boys (ages 10 and 12) were viewed as adults ($28), the other two boys were right at the line for junior vs adult cars ($25), then the charged my son $25 when he was a member. I had to reassure and request that the staff double check his membership to get the discounted membership price. Then the staff would not allow the five boys to race together. The two smaller boys were clearly at the line to ride in the black (faster cars), but the staff would not allow that. So they had to run in two different races thus upsetting all boys. I understand that there are safety concerns, but if you aren't going to abide by your own rules then perhaps you should reevaluate them. These outrageous prices are only so that the boys can ride 10-14 laps around the track. That's it and then it's all over with!After all of this nonsense, I am very thankful that I didn't have the party at Pole Position to rent the room. I would have been even more disappointed if I had.

A team of 10 of us entered into a complete 3 race event including practice, qualifier and race. I actually won so perhaps I am a bit biased however the track and cars were the best I have ever had. It was not too busy, the layout was great, the cars get up to 45mph in 3 seconds and there is plenty of room to pass. We did have dinner there and the food was pretty basic with tacos and chips. Very fun for the individual to race in a public race, with friends as a group or like us as a business even for team building or just plain fun.

Great fun- a little pricey $28 but carts are super fast. It is a little hard to pass slower riders, but I had a great time with my daughter (fathers day gift) It is a cool thing to do once, I don't think I could make a habit out of it due to the price

My son loved this. I thought it was pretty expensive $28 for 1 turn (14 laps). I wish there had been other options to purchase. My daughter thought it was ok but I doubt she would ever do it again.
