The school house is actually a little white rotting building. The Van Allen house on the same property has recently been renovated and is a very interesting building. The property was used this year for a Cival Wat re enactment which is why we were there. It is a very nice property but not a lot to do there.

Its an added bonus when visiitng the Van Alen House. As the docent will be collecting the tour fee here, its worth spending 15 minutes getting to know.
