millbrook vineyards & winery

i visit various wineries around the states and not that unusual- the wines are dry- not to my tasting but the process of fermentation is interesting- a pretty place and try it when in Millbrook

It was ok. It seemed like the place was a bit too crowded and unorganized the day we were there. We had a hard time finding a place to park. As a matter of fact, the tour was included and we were discouraged from doing the tour because it was too crowded. The person doing the tasting was a lovely young woman, we were with a great bunch of people that we didn't know, the wine was ok and we probably wouldn't go back. I would say check it out for yourself. The ride was really nice (we live about an hour away) and the drive through the vineyard was pretty on a sunny, fall day.

Great location for events, this is one of the hudson valley's jewels. They are friendly, welcoming and always professional. This is worth the drive.

I've visited many wineries and this one simply did not impress me. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with stunning scenery, definitely a great place to just spend some time. However, this is a very large place with a high volume of visitors, especially on a weekend. Due to a tour group, we were forced to share a tiny bar with a large group of people. The wines were mediocre but Michelle was great, super friendly and knowledgeable.

Beautiful vineyard, great people and just a relaxing wonderful time with good friends. Definitely a place to enjoy the scenery, too.

Although we thought the "tasting" fee of $11 was a little steep(there was no tour included the day we were there) we did enjoy most of the wines we sampled. Of all the wineries we visited while in the area, this was our favorite---delicious chardonay.

Beautiful vineyard with wonderful tasting wines! So glad we came here and did the tastings and purchased some wine to bring home with us. The staff was very personable and friendly and we really enjoyed looking around. A must see if you're in the area!

We had a Groupon for the Portfolio Tasting. Our guide was Morgan, an extremely pleasant young lady who had worked at the vineyards for 6 years. She gave us the guided tour and then orchestrated our tasting. She gave us a ton of tips and even though I have toured/tasted at many vineyards over the years, this was the most informative and enjoyable experience I have had. My husband and I then enjoyed the beautiful afternoon out by the pond with our wine and cheese and crackers. My only criticism is that most vineyards provide some type of cracker or such between the different wines you taste and Millbrook did not do so. I think that would have enhanced the tasting, as the wines started to get mixed up on my palate. But all in all I would highly recommend a trip to Millbrook Vineyards and Winery.

Beautiful area and setting for a winery. Tasted six wines and purchased 10 bottles between 2 couples. Staff was excellent and very friendly. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about their wines. Be sure to stop by if you are in the area.

For $11.00 you taste 6 wines. 3 white, 3 reds. Just average. Nothing outstanding. You can also get a tour (brief) of the winery.

We are so glad you enjoyed your experience with our Wine and Cheese Pairing! Be sure to visit again on a nice day in October, the foliage is gorgeous and the grounds are worth exploring on a nicer day.

My wife and I stopped by after lunch in Millbrook today. What a fun little trip. It's a beautiful setting and nice, small winery. The tasting was fun. We ended up buying a mixed case and promising ourselves that we would return again.

We did the reserve tour and our sommelier was terrific! We ended up leaving with six bottles of wine and some snacks and goodies from the store!

We visited the vineyard as part of our hotel package. We thoroughly enjoyed the informative tour and had fun at our tasting with our hostess Jacqueline. The building and grounds were very pretty and made for a relaxing visit
