While visting Lake Placid we took an early evening sleigh ride through the fresh snow. The forest was dimly lit with lanterns hanging from the trees. The scenery was breathtaking as the two beautiful Belgium horses lead the us through the woods, the fields and past the historic John Brown farm. It was a picturesque ride that was just postcard perfect. To top it off all the people that work here are so nice and accomodating. I highly recommend this for both kids and adults.

My family and I have been doing sleigh rides with Melissa and George the owners of the farm for many years. We have followed them to all their locations. Last year they took a hiatus and we missed them terribly. This year they have started their rides again and this time in Lake Placid, New York. We again found them and were lucky to be on their first ride of the season. I can truly say this is the best place that they have been. John Brown's location is truly breathtaking. You can see the ski jumps, whiteface mountain, and the history of John Brown. We took our family on this ride and it was enjoyed by all. We are looking forward to another ride this winter. If you are in Lake Placid don't miss out on this breathtaking ride and Melissa and George are wonderful people too.

Awesome place to visit. Great for adults and children alike. There is horse drawn wagon rides which is a lot of fun to do. They have a corn maze in the fall and lots of little things for children to do. There was a giant caterpillar made from hay the kids could climb on and a little house full of corn for them to play in, a farm version of the ball pit. A great family day out, highly recommended!
