I visited this wonderful gallery on a recent vacation to Maine's western lake region. The light and welcoming space showcases (very reasonably priced) paintings, pottery, fiber arts, floor mats, stained glass, and jewelry hand crafted by area artists. Stop by if you're shopping for a present for yourself or others, or if you simply want to see some lovely art. If you yourself live nearby, they have also just opened a center offering classes.

Since I live in the adjoining town of Naples, ME, I have the opportunity to visit Gallery 302 frequently. I am impressed with the quality and variety of art work in the gallery. One can find ceramics, jewelry, paintings, prints, stained glass, drawings, photography and original painted cards. There is something for everyone's taste. The works are quite reasonable and there is a small gift shop with even more reasonable work. The gallery also offers workshops and classes for the beginner and for more advanced artists. Every month and sometimes more often a wine and cheese reception is held that is open to the public. The gallery is a co-op so there is an opportunity to meet one of the artists since they must spend some time working in the gallery.The gallery is right in the center of Bridgton across from the library. Gallery hours in June are 12 noon to 5 pm. July begins with longer hours from 10 am to 5 pm. I highly recommend visiting this gallery. It is a jewel in the Western lakes and mountain region of Maine.
