Perfect place to hunt for that special something one is looking for. You are never rushed; the staff is very helpful. It could use some more air conditioning, however, when it is very hot outside. The back area tends to get a bit warm.

On previous trips to Maine, in the 90s, the antique malls were a must. But this one seems to have little pre-1950 stock. There are rooms and rooms of objects, but nothing that caught my eye...and my house is filled with antiques [or "antiques"] bought at such places in the past. Maybe the times have changed...
