city hall

Outside there is a plague of Abraham Lincoln from his visit in 1860. Inside the meeting hall looks pretty much as it did when he visited. He arrived at the depot by train, walked over to city hall and spoke. Little known fact, I think is exciting, just before he was nominated.

I was pleased when I went into the building. It even had an old 20th century elevator, quite interesting.
