Great place to take your kids to have a fun day at the park. Great place to walk with good scenery. They have beautiful ponds and fountains. Also the Christmas light display is one of the best in the tri-state area.

This beautiful park with playgrounds for all ages, festivals, soccer, softball, baseball, a fish pond with a fountain, sidewalk that goes around the park 1.25 miles. It is a beautiful place !when the springtime comes and there are daffodils all along the Lexington Ave side...however, there is also a lot of drug dealers in the area and deals going down. I would NEVER let even my older children go there alone! I don't believe it is a safe place! It is a huge shame because the park is one of our community's greatest assets!!!!

There are a lot of areas for kids to play and at Christmas time there is a great Christmas light display.

Central Park is located in the heart of Ashland, KY (from Central Avenue to Lexington Avenue and from 16 street to 19th street) - it is a public park with sports facilities, an excellent walking area, a fountain, monuments, etc. and it's free... in the winter there is a splendid holiday light display that can be enjoyed by driving around the perimeter streets. Beautiful, even a "train ride" for the kids. It is a year-round attraction in Ashland and a great place for kids to play or roam.
