wrather west kentucky museum

It's a cool concept, but when you keep the same exhibits for 30+ years, you get no repeat business. As a native of Murray, I know about my hometown, but there's not much labeling or context to explain exhibits to those who don't know the history. Nor is there anyone to ask.

I went into Wrather Museum and did not know there were so many floors of items. There are several items of clothing or books that I found to be really interesting. I think it was very educational and fun at the same time.

I needed to waste a few hours in Murray, and I used this site to find something to do. The University has designated parking for visitors of the museum, which is nice. The museum is totally free, which is a major plus in my book. The exhibits are so interesting, there are so many different topics covered. They have Civil Rights stuff, Immigration, Hollywood, matchbooks... pianos... very eclectic!It's a great way to waste a half hour or 5 hours!
