the gentleman

During our visit to Lexington, KY, we also stopped into Paris, which is on a beautiful, 20 minute drive northeast of Lexington.Paris has a main street working on revitalization with some shops, galleries and restaurants. The Gentleman is a distillery focused on small batch, craft spirits. We met one of the proprietors (and distiller) who seems very passionate of the product and business. There was a nice casual atmosphere which made for very pleasant conversation about what they are doing. While the distillery is awaiting for its approval to produce bourbon, they are making an excellent rum in the meantime, which we purchased a few bottles.Looking forward to their bourbon and other spirits and will definable visit when we travel back into the area.
