This is the a fun small-town ski area with a nice combination of groomed & ungroomed slopes. Part of the hill is a wee bit steep, but they've done a nice job of providing alternatives over the last 15 or 20 years.

If you are looking for steep, deep, and cheap, look no further. This mountain is truly a hidden gem located in northwest Montana. The mountain is only open Friday through Sunday so the powder stacks up for some unbelievable skiing. Also, if you want your own ski hill for a day, it is one of the only few resorts in America that you can rent for the day. This mountain truly is a place you should check out. You will not be disappointed.

Didn't know what to expect when we showed up to Turner Mountain. Was completely surprised with the wide open slopes and large amount of gladed runs with snow still good. Would be an amazing powder day hill. No bar but you can bring your own beer for the parking lot. Lodge and chair are same level and right next to parking lot. Would be good mountain for skiing familes, although may be difficult for kids just starting to ski.

Turner Mountain is a place that is most difficult to leave. Not only is the mountain full of great runs and the trees are super, but the people there are not to be beat! The locals help to keep the place maintained and running. There's only a few paid staff. It's a steal at the price under $40 for a lift ticket. Do not go unless you invite me :)
