Breweries in Montana have more family appeal than any other state I have been. This one more than most in Missoula puts effort into their food. Good atmosphere and views the only detraction to me is probably the menu. I sincerely liked how you could customize your own small plate with antipasto bites (I think this will be lost on most Montanans), but many of the dishes are Mediterranean themed which IMO goes much better with wine. Also, sliders. I like the concept of sliders, but when I am two IPAs deep I want a big burger not three small ones. A very good place with a few tweaks I would instill. But hey, everyone is different and I appreciate the difference. The only brewery in Lolo.

What a great place to stop in for good beer and great service and beautiful atmosphere. The essence of Montana Living. Getting to know the mission of the Lolo Peak Brewery and their commitment to their community only adds to the warmth and welcome you feel when patronizing. Keep it up!

We live in Missoula and find ourselves making excuses to head to Lolo because of this brewery. They have live music often, the beer is good and their twist on pub food is fun and delicious. I've had the Jamaican jerk drumsticks and beef sliders with fries-can't go wrong with either. I usually drink brown or Amber ales, but the alpenglow wheat ale was really good.

A fun place to try a Montana made beer and the chicken legs are delicious. The evenings with live music are the best.

Their beer selection is one of the best around. The wheat is one of my favorites but to keep it simple, try their sampler pack to find the one you like. The resturant is now open with a menu that's simple but accomidating forall tastes. Beer coated onion rings are a priority to have along with a sampler plate of sliders with include buffalo. I dig this place, very rustic and staff is awesome. A must stop traveling to or from the Bitterroot.

This is a really nice looking place with great atmosphere - it's fairly close to us and we've been here several times. with 10+ breweries close by it's worth the flight of beers to see if one suits you. Overall we've not been overwhelmed by the beer, but had high hopes when they were opening the food service. I'd read the website info on the menu and it seemed unclear as to the offerings - there's a reason for that since that's not what the menu is - the website apparently is the musings of one of the workers and not currently reflective of the actual menu being served (as of 06 Dec 2014). they have a small menu, and except for the bahn mi sandwich, really lacks creativity that it would seem this clientele would welcome. The sliders are ok, the fries are fine, the catsup is home made and really not all that appealing. We'll give it another shot once they get their kitchen legs under them.

Stopped in last Friday for a porter and a bite to eat. We ordered the chicken legs 4 ways to try and they were delicious! The salads were great and I had their signature sandwich (the bahn mi) which was pretty good with spicy hot sausage & marinated asian veggies. They just recently started food service and the place was packed!

Just stopped in to the Lolo Peak Brewery after kayaking the Bitterroot River on a beautiful fall afternoon. This new brewery has great beer, a beautiful location with patio, fire put, volleyball on the grass and beautiful rustic design. They are adding a kitchen in the next two weeks but the hit dog vendor is great. Very relaxing and family friendly . This is a great stop for this part of the Bitterroot valley!

Great IPA. Atmosphere is very down to earth. Not your average brewery. Perfect stop after a day of fishing on the Bitterroot. Great to have new local pub in Lolo, much needed, thank you guys!

Wow! This newly opened brewery has the best tasting beer. The prices are great. The service was outstanding. The owner walks around and keeps in touch with the people. The tables are handmade works of art. The only downfall was the lack of air conditioning. You MUST go.
