The Cajun Music Hall Of Fame And Museum Was Very Small And Quaint, But Packed With Many Interesting Goodies!

This place is wonderful. The lady who works there told as all about Cajun music and Country Mardi Grass. The place is maybe small, but it's lovely and hides many historical artifacts nowhere else to be found. Go!

Knowing next to nothing about Cajun and Cajun music, we were going to pass this by. However after stopping the the Jean La Fitte Center we walked the two blocks to the museum. What a find! The volunteer was a wealth of knowledge and seemed to enjoy her role and the fact that Ohioans had stopped in. She pointed out many things of interest as we browsed. She helped me choose a CD of a mixture of tunes and artists as a souvenir.Definitely worth a stop!

we stopped by and found the pure Cajun 82 sweetest lady at the Museum she showed up a lot of interesting and shared some history with us also. Next door is the Depot Museum which has another great docent to share Eunice history and today with us. Well worth the stop if you are interested and take the time to talk and ask questions.

The museum is small and doesn't have many artifacts on display. There were however lots of articles posted on the walls under pictures and in notebooks/books. The lady at the desk didn't seem to interested in showing me anything. They were not even playing Cajun music.

We were in Eunice for the day and came upon the Cajun Music Hall of Fame. The HOF is located in a small building just off the main highway through Eunice and is manned by an employee of the city government. Even if you are not a Cajun music fan, you'll enjoy hearing about the history of people in the HOF. Admission is free and will only take about 30 minutes to visit. Combine this stop with some of the other attractions in Eunice and you'll spend an entire day there, particularly on a Saturday.

We really enjoyed our visit, the staff were so helpful and informative. Highly recommended for fans of Cajun music and culture.

A small museum without an admission charge. Even if you are not a Cajun music fan it is worth a visit. A great example of a community working to preserve its heritage. Staffed by a very friendly and knowledgable local lady. Leave a donation or buy a CD to help keep the place going.

This small museum pays tribute to the best Cajun musicians who have ever lived. Accordion players, fiddle players, guitarists, singers. They are all honored here. The museum has CDs for sale, representing the music over the years and up to the present day. The staff love this music and the people who make it, and their enthusiasm shows. We learned so much.

Title says it all. The woman working there is a charming wealth of knowledge. A fitting tribute to wonderful musicians, from roots to today.
