old courthouse museum

We went to visit the old courthouse and when we walked in it was no longer there, just a empty room. There is a geneology room upstairs, but we didn't go there.

The Genealogical Library IS open, but call first....for the museum, go to the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame building on Front Street and go upstairs to the Northwest Louisiana Historical Museum

This place is CLOSED! We saw it on the tourist map,looked interesting. Exterior of building is neat.

I really wanted to visit this place but unfortunately it has closed. I didn't see any notice that it may reopen any time soon or if ever. Still, I was glad to see the building. Loved the exterior and small courtyard.
