Just stopped in to hit a few balls before our flight. BEAUTIFUL place and very friendly staff. Will come back and stay / play the course.
What a wonderful place to spend a relaxing weekend. The golf is excellent on one of the "Trail's" courses. The hospitality was very good and the rooms spacious and clean. The food at the bar was good but a bit pricey (as a resort, you could expect this) so a short drive into town yields great local resturants and atmosphere. Plan on your trip in the fall before the leaves fall (it's easier to find the golf balls NOT inthe fairways) when the crowds thins a little bit and the weather cools. Sit outside on the patio for a chilled beverage and wait for the bag pipes at dusk. I would do this trip again.
Well manicured, well maintained course. Friendly staff makes it even more special. Exceptional golf for all skill levels. Pub grub is decent and servers are competent.
If you love to play golf and you also enjoy the beauty of a course, this one will make you happy. It is a beautiful course, many views, fun to play. Your experience will be memorable.
This is an exceptional golf course. We had the opportunity to play here twice last week. This golf course is designed superbly, wonderful to play. The reason I can't give it 5 stars is the maintenance. A course of this caliber should be in primo condition. Not so...there were weeds on most of the tees, large clumps of crab grass, or at least foreign grass to what should be there. Also the greens are not in the best shape. They charge $150 per round... please take better care of your course!
Everything about Ross Bridge is incredible. Range, chipping area, practice green, clubhouse, pro shop, restaurant...all top notch. The course was immaculate and very fair. Every step on the course had amazing views. We had heard that this was the premier golf experience on the Trail and it exceeded our lofty expectations.
36 couples on our annual golf trip. A different place every year. First time at Ross Bridge. Great pro shop. Very friendly staff. The course is very nice considering there are many inconsiderate golfers who do not fill divots or repair ball marks. A challenging track with numerous tee options. 30 minutes from downtown Birmingham, which has ample restaurant offerings. Don't give the hotel's restaurants high marks on value. Come for the golf, it the food.
Another year and another great course. This was our third visit to the course and it is wonderful every time. The staff is excellent and accommodating!!! Will repeat this course on our trip in 2016!!!
We spend two nights at this amazing hotel. The room was lovely and the view outstanding. My husband played 2 rounds of golf on the fabulous course. I enjoyed the spa and the poolside. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. Dinner at Brocks delicious and less costly than we thought it might be! Bonus! We would recommend this place to anyone!
We like Ross Bridge as a venue for our important business meetings and conferences. Excellent food. Excellent service. Fabulous setting.
We had a wonderful week here with the best service in every restaurant on sight to the front desk. Just perfect. While centrally located it is a short drive to a Starbucks but within walking distance is a great restaurant off site. We were very pleased. Highly recommended.
If you stay here, plan on driving along way to everything. The golf course is beautiful, but not really for weekend hackers. The food is terrible. The kids will love the pool.
The pool, the pool, the pool!! It's a haven for kids! Gorgeous property with nice places to eat and cute little shops in the hotel. I haven't heard any of the men complain about the Golf course either!! The Bruno Memorial is held here, so you know it's good. Great property for the whole family.
Ross Bridge is well staffed and a good place to get away from distractions. It is 30 minutes from town which is both good and bad. The meeting attendees were able to focus on work but unless you play golf, there was nothing else to do. The food was great and the pool area very nice.
The course is quite challenging and has tees for everyone. We played the Orange at this and other courses but you need to be able to carry your drive about 200 yards in order to safely negotiate some of the carries. Choose your tees wisely. This was the best of the four courses we played on our 4 day golf trip and should not be missed if in the Birmingham area
