Pleasant, friendly atmosphere with a good assortment of wines and beer. Everyone made us feel comfortable, and prices are very reasonable. We are not wine experts, so when choosing they would give a sample to try before buying a glass. There is plenty of comfortable seating with couches and chairs.

I visited Mobile this week to go to Mardi Gras with my family. After the parade was over, we were walking back to our car where we stumbled across this little wine bar on St. Francis St. Actually, it was an old fire station that has been remodeled beautifully by the owners (Margo and her husband). It was a cozy wine bar that had very tranquil lighting and maintained a lot of the historic features of the old firehouse. They had an incredible selection of wines at all different price levels, and the staff was very courteous and helpful in selecting the wines. I would highly recommend stopping by if you're in downtown Mobile, just off of Bienville Square.

The owners renovated an old Firehouse from the 1800s into a really nice wine and craft beer spot. My wife had a great flight of wine and I had a Jai Alai IPA from Cigar City Brewing. The owner of the place was very friendly and had some great recommendations. I would highly recommend checking them out if you are in Downtown Mobile and looking for something other than the typical Dauphin St. bar...

We were walking around and came across this nice little wine bar in a renovated Fire House built in the 1800's. They had a nice selection of wine and beers and the owner is very personaable. I highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing time. We will definitely visit every time we are in Mobile.

Firehouse Wine bar had both an excellent selection of wines, but also a fantastic draft and bottled beer selection. The wine flights were reasonably priced, and allowed the choice between many of the wines on the list (possibly all?). The stemless glasses and wooden flight board were really cool, and the first time I have seen that offered in Mobile. The draft beer selection was incredibly fresh, many of the offerings local beers from Alabama. The bartenders were both very helpful, and knowledgeable about the wine and beer selections. We'll be back!

Downtown Mobile is finally looking lively. Last night enjoyed wine with friends at this wine bar. It's in a lovely old building - firehouse- on St Francis Street, just adjacent to Bienville Square. It's owned by two young newcomers to Mobile. Their selections of wine are excellent. The service was perfect. It's a lovely happening upbeat place. I wish the owners the best of luck in their new venture
