chugach heritage center

Including its very own little iceberg on the day we were there, this center will give you information about the astonishing Chugach Moutain area, Turnagain Arm (one of America's most beautiful drives, which takes all day! You'll never want it to end!). The center is also located at a lovely scenic spot in a bay, with the mountains all around.

Loved the native stories and customs. All ages will enjoy something here.
