This is a beautiful store filled with true French furniture, art, decorative pieces. Well worth a look
This place just off the square in Fayetteville was a nice little shop with some interesting and unusual items. The store was arranged nicely and the shopping environment was vintage in feeling and quite relaxed. It was particularly enjoyable to browse at Christmas time. The shop name was a little bit of a misnomer. While there were certainly some antiques in the shop, it seemed to me to be more of a boutique with a plethora of nice giftware. Those antiques that were on display were lovely pieces and many of them were large. As such, however, they tended to be pretty pricey. If you are on the Square, make sure to wander into this shop. You will enjoy the browsing.
If only I had more time! Love the items and the service was good despite the fact that I had my tot in tow and barely time to browse.
The is an awesome store but it is a little pricey. They have a lot of unique items and if I had been rich I would have bought everything that they had, but alas I had to walk away empty handed but it is a nice store to go in and browse around. The man that runs it is very nice and helpful.
If you like Country French furniture, you will love French Quarters. However, I have found them very expensive compared to a great alternative in Berryville Arkansas which is over an hour away from Fayetteville. Prestons Antiques is off the beaten path and has a WONDERFUL selection of French country at incredible prices. I like both stores, but I highly recommend you start with Prestons. Hopefully, Prestons will get a web site up and running soon. If you buy at French Quarters, you may be put off a bit by the customer service. I think that they need a little competition to remember who the customer is.
