My husband and I hired Cameron as our guide due to a recommendation and it was the best money we've spent on an anniversary present yet. We have been on guided fishing trips before (not fly fishing), so we knew to expect our to have our hooks baited for us to be taken to the best "honey holes" but, Wow!!!! It was the best day ever! Cameron, even though he is a young chap is the most professional, informational, courteous and patient guide we've seen. I figured he'd groan when he found out we'd never held a fly rod - nope! He actually seemed excited at the challenge of a newby and gave me and my husband undivided and easy to follow instructions (and plenty of encouragement while we got the hang of it). His boat and equipment is large, new, top of the line and extremely comfortable. The only thing he didn't provide was the jackets we needed for the chilly morning air! Lunchtime he docked us at a stunningly beautiful shoal on the river and cooked us a hot lunch while we sat at the bistro table he set up for us…. His personality put us at ease and by this time we were all laughing and having the best time! All and all, a TOP NOTCH guide that I would recommend to anyone. I'm still trying to figure out how he got that Bald Eagle to land in a tree directly over us!! Oh - did I mention we caught well over 100 fish????
