We came here on a recommendation and Lauren was the best tour guide ever! Then the tasting with Lauren and Jack after was the best. We all loved the whiskey but the peach was hands down the best. Awesome trip. Would tell anyone to come!!

Come take a tour of this little distillery having a big impact on the spirits market. Their award winning spirits are world class. Take a tour and see how the spirits are distilled, aged, and bottled and then try out some of their quality products. Proud to have them in our community!

The Rock Town distillery is situated in a large building near downtown Little Rock. There is a tasting room and a gift shop and there are guided tours 7 days a week. The tour is interesting showing the fermentation vats while the guide explains the process. After the tour it is possible to sample all the spirits distilled there. They make gin, vodka, rye whiskey, bourbon and several varieties of moonshine. They also sell bottles of everything they distill.

The best part of the tour was our guide, she was informative. The comparison of their bourbon to other known bourbon was a bit of brag that did not live up once the tasting began. Not the highlight of my Little Rock vacation. The outside exterior was hiding the bright interior.

I recommend this to anyone passing through LR. The tour was entertaining with lots of laughing thanks to a wonderful guide. It was interesting and the gift shop was fairly priced. I bought a tshirt and it's uber comfy and soft...one of my favorites now!

My Dad and I have been on the road for 8 hours when we got to Little rock. We checked into our hotel then popped along the road to check out the Distillery. We were met with huge smiles, and made to feel so welcome by James and Elizabeth. They are both very knowledgeable, not just about their own spirits but could even tell us Scots, about Scotch malts. We sat for almost an hour with them and they made a perfect finish to a long day.

You can taste test 6 of the different alcoholic beverages. Bring your credit card because you know you will be taking some home. The employees are very friendly. I believe the taste testing is from 2-5 mon-fri. Now you cant do the taste testing and the tour. It is one or the other when we were there.

The tour was okay. I've done a few brewery and distillery tours...the banter was not up to par. Young girl didn't have a whole lot of personality during tour. The tasting was much better. Was not impressed with any of the bourbons, but did like the rum.

As a California girl on her first trip to the South, I was unaware that on Sunday, everything is closed because I am in the Bible belt! Those flash rain showers killed my attempted 40 mile bike ride along the river. While I was drying off with a cup of coffee at my hotel, I saw an ad in the local magazine for Rock Town Distill. While you can't buy liquor on Sunday, you could take a tour and taste whiskey!!!Given that I was drinking 27 y.o. Chieftan scotch at The City Club and smoking a cigar two nights before in San Francisco, this sounded like no brainer to me. I asked the driver at TheCapitol Hotel to take me to Rock Town Distill, which is off the beaten path. I was lucky to catch part of the tour and then one of the guys gave me a private tour of the distill, the portion I missed. Its a small craft distillery, on the cusp of deciding whether to add a second distillery which wouldrequire more capital and a move. About 50 volunteers help bottle each production, so its smalland friendly. The tasting room has room for a dozen people along the bar. They use tiny plastic medicine cups to serve apple whiskey, moonshine, hickory smoked whiskey, double bourbon and more. There was more whiskey than I could taste! I enjoyed the patter and talk while I tasted. I endedup buying three sampler packs, which I brought home in my suitcase to my daughters and husband. Apparently, Little Rock can't ship to California due to some stupid alcohol law. So,I took a chance and buried the three bottle packs in my clothes. Only the little glass broke.I really enjoyed my tour and tasting. The young hipster who served us was really friendly andknowledgable. A women wanted to buy the same shirt that he was wearing. There were no morein stock, so he literally took the shirt off of his back, and sold it to her. Nice!

This is a realitivly new operation producing a very good variety of liqours including flavored "moonshine". The owner served us samples of most everything he produces - so many times we have went to a tasting only to be told "you can try up to "x" samples" but, not here. What is the point of going to a tasting if you can't try them all to see what you like? No charge for the tastings. You can also walk a few blocks north to at great natural area.

Enjoyed this tour very much. Small, local distillery with very personable employees and owner. Went on a Saturday afternoon as a surprise. Mr. Brandon answered all questions and was very knowledgeable.

This was part of our Anniversary trip and I very much enjoyed it. Staff was very friendly and informative. We learned quite a bit about their whole operation and made me appreciate the place that much more. The fact they are striving to have all of their raw goods from Arkansas I thought was great. Everything except for their barley is from in state. We got to sample something like 11 separate products and we were both a big fan of the Blackberry shine. Great with lemonade!! We really liked the place. It is worth your time to check it out. The groupon is a great deal for this place.

Stopped by with my hubby & adult son during Christmas. Our tour guide was funny yet informative. The tastings were delicious! I never knew moonshine could taste sooo good. And, yes, I've had family homemade in the hills of AR. You can sign up to help on bottling/labeling nights & get "paid" in a bottle of hooch! GREAT CRAIC!!

We did this tour with our son and daughter-in-law. The tour was short but interesting. We enjoyed the tasting and learning about the distilling process. They have a great assortment of spirits and a nice little gift shop as well. We would recommend this tour to any adult/group over 21.

Love the fact that this is the only LEGAL distillery in Arkansas. Phil Brandon and team have done this state a real service. Elizabeth did an excellent job with the tour - very knowledgeable and funny!
