on target indoor firing range

We had so much fun at the gun range. Jan and Bob were very friendly and made us feel right at home. Prices were great and the simulator program was an absolute blast! Pun intended. :)

Not only an indoor shooting range with 6 stations, Gun Cave also has the only simulator program in the state. Real life scenarios as a thug at the atm, parking lot and stores provide training for defense in those situations. Jan, the owner, is an NRA instructor who helps customers with ammo, gun suggestions and also teaches classes. She also has a variety of guns for customers to try before purchase. A variety of paper targets from the standard circles to thug and crooks. We had an an enjoyable time and look forward to going again,especially in cold rainy weather. Much more fun than our gun club.

First of all it is now called the Gun Cave other wise the building is the same Jan and Bob have made a few changes which enhance the range experience and add a bit of flair and classiness. I loved it and playing with things that go boom what is there not to like? They have a decent selection of targets at a reasonable price or you can bring your own they also have numerous hand guns that you can try my favorite being the PPK/S felt a bit like James Bond when I fired it. Good people and pleasant atmosphere will be back when I can find the ammo and funds allow.

Was a great experience for my boyfriend's birthday. We went in as complete novices. The owners/instructors were very friendly, informative, encouraging, and patient. We definitely recommend this range!! Had a great time! Thanks so much to Jan and Bob!

With the certified staff on hand and range safety rules enforced with security cameras on every lane, this is the ideal place to bring the entire family for a safe environment to learn about guns and rifles. The range provides air soft guns for class instruction with kids and new adult shooters then moves each shooter up to real guns and appropriate calibers for each individual!

It's the only indoor spot in town (well, close to town!). They can also rent you pistols, eye protection and ear protection.

This place is great its pretty hard nowadays to find indoor ranges that are still reasonablly priced. Also they dont have a stupid range officer there telling u like a child how to do every little thing. I have been shooting guns since I was 5 years old and have never had an accident and I am in my mid 30's now! I have been coming here for years the gentleman that now runs it was very nice and knowledgable. They have a few pistols for rent if u want but I always just bring my own guns. Targets and ammo for sale at location. They have the bullet trap system and their range can handle up to a 50 cal rifle. Its a little hard to find its on the outskirts of town but if u know where Mid America Science Museum is its basically right down the road from that but its not on the same road. Help keep this gem open and give them a visit next time u are in town.
