bride to bride boutique and upscale event consignment

I have had an $800 wedding gown on consignment at Bride to Bride since July 2012. I have been trying to contact the store owner for over a month, so I can retrieve my gown and wear it on my upcoming wedding day.However, since she moved her shop from Wingate to Lafayette, the store has no signs of business. I have called , emailed and stopped by numerous times. Doors Locked. No signs of any business, with the exception of dresses in the window. There is no note on the door stating she is on vacation or otherwise. I consider this behavior stealing. I would never ever recommend anyone do business with this place, but again, something tells me she took peoples gowns and closed shop.

You would not believe the run-around I experienced while leaving my wedding dress with Bride to Bride for alterations. It was an extremely unpleasant, stressful, unsatisfactory, and expensive experience. I highly recommend that you take your dress somewhere else for alterations, which is what I had to do, to fix the completely inadequate state Bride to Bride left my wedding dress in.
