small but informative! Lots to see and a good value. Parking is a bit tough. Morning was a good time to visit.

I went here a few times as a child and a few more times as a 20 something year old. There are a few artifacts from early living including pictures of the shoe industry and some old architecture photos. Along with a very informative tour guide. If you are from Lynn and interested in all in the history of the city in which you live you should definitely stop by. If you're not from Lynn and thank you may have some misconceptions about the town feel free to breeze through one afternoon.

Wonderful place to learn local stories, culture, arts, and history. The Lynn Museum offers a good variety of programs for children and adults. The exhibits change frequently making a return visit interesting! Their MESA presentations, focused toward adults, offer a new topic each month. This is a real gem in Lynn! Check their website for hours, current exhibits and events.

Great exhibits about the key periods from Lynn's history. Lots of pictures on display of Lynn landmarks from back in the day. Upstairs is full of artifacts dating back 200+ years. There are events at the museum every so often as well.

This is a wonderful place to visit and everyone should go to visit this great place of interest. It is full of culture and historical artifacts. The staff is really experienced and helpful, and they always have free entertainment for kids throughout the year!! I highly recommend this as a must visit location!

We go at least once a year it changes so much. The also offer after hours lectures, movie viewings and party's. The Lynn Museum is an asset to our community.

Major focus on the shoe making industry as Lynn was the shoe making capitol when show manufacturing was just starting out. Also a display on the fire that burned a good portion of down town in the early eighties. They do have rotating exhibits, but don't expect everyone on their website to be displayed when you go. There is also a small courtyard, and a small shoe making house in the courtyard. Great if you're interested in the history of Lynn. I went with a group of children, and while some things caught their attention, it's more geared toward adults.

Needs more interactive exhibits-it is however a very good museum, with many lovely things and tells the history of a very old city from farms in the Revolutionary War to the present day.

i have visited a few times and the museum is very interesting!
